The Last Film You Saw.

Cowboys and Aliens

Liked it a lot.

Watched all the Harry Potter movies in 2 days.

As good as the books.

The Town -7/10

Not bad, but nothing I would need to watch again.

Consider the similarities between dashes and negative signs. Just consider them for a second.

Rango, it wasn’t funny. And only the main character looked good.

I saw Italian Job with Michael Cain today with my fiance.

I’ve already seen it, but this was her first, and surprisingly, she enjoyed it.

It is indeed a classic.

Cowboys and Aliens - 8/10

Fun enough movie. I liked all of the characters in it, and the action was convincing enough. There were a couple of things I didn’t get along with though. I am sick of naked aliens, and I don’t care for the one plot point when they meet the Indians and the fire and stuff. I would have revealed that part differently. But otherwise worth watching on the big screen. It takes full use of the size with its visuals.

In other words, it won’t translate well to VHS. At all.

What is this VHS you speak of.

I was wondering that myself. Even my cheap-ass house has a 42" HDTV with a DVD player.
[COLOR=‘Black’](before you bring up 100" is small and BlueRay, I did say cheap)

Will the film be available on Laserdisc?

I just finished watching Macross yesterday. I had grown up watching Robotech, and I had heard that it was vastly different from it’s source. It’s not. It’s exactly the same story, with a few changes here and there to make it different. Protoculture originally being the race that created the Zentradi instead of being an energy source, etc.

Overall, I think I liked Macross more than Robotech, though the different voices were tough to get used to. (and Minmei’s voice was horrible IMO)

It’s not that they’re different it’s that Robotech took three different series and smashed them all together to make the show. One of them was Macross.

Just saw Limitless, actually a pretty good movie, but they didn’t use the potential of the idea fully.

Also Jackass 3.5

Finally watched Inglorious Basterds. Was pretty good, but not that great.

:hmph:

I said I grew up watching Robotech. I knew that.

I was just surprised that there were practically no differences.

Blasphemy.

I saw Gamer last night. That was a fun movie to watch. I think it’s totally underrated if you ask me. But I liked Transformers, so what do I know?

Adjustment Bureau - 7/10. Matt Damon and Elise Blunt give great performances and have awesome chemistry in this movie. The story is ok, but you are left with a lot of questions unanswered, which, if you are like me, will be frustrating. Also, I was saying “You bastards!” every couple of minutes, because everything the [COLOR=‘Black’]hat-based wizards do is a total dick move.

Source Code - 8/10. Interesting concept, if not totally original. The ending feels a little forced, and there’s one thing that bugs me in particular - [COLOR=‘Black’]He apparently creates a new parallel universe in which the bomb does not go off, and he’s living in someone else’s body, getting close to the guy’s girlfriend. Is that creepy or what? Also, if that happened when he succeeded, what about all the times he failed? Did he create a bunch of parallel worlds where the bomber succeeds? Or did those get erased with his success? Again, interesting, but not without a lot of questions at the end.

Burn After Reading.

Some of the shit George Clooney did made me laugh, The rest of it was very meh.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
