The Last Film You Saw.

I saw a theater in Cambridge playing it one night this past summer.

Actually, they were filming a movie at the theater that night, a period-piece of 1999, a romantic comedy I think, and the characters were going on a date at the midnight-showing of The Phantom Menace. They had a bunch of “fan” extras, standing in line dressed up as Star Wars characters.

IMO, the only good things that came out of The Phantom Menace were double bladed lightsabers, and Darth Maul being badass.

Happy Feet 2, my family brought me to it to watch for my niece who’s 2.

Didn’t enjoy it all that much, but I loved the krill. They should get their own movie.

Ah, Kairouseki, I just saw something similar-- Sweeney Todd.

Sweeney Todd was cool.

A friend of mine was watching the fourth Spy Kids movie on her laptop while I was playing Skyward Sword, so I saw bits and pieces of it.

Probably the most ridiculous premise I’ve ever seen. Ok, so because everyone seems to be wasting time, the Timekeeper, decides to take away time, so that there will be no more time to waste. Thus ending the world.

I know it’s a kids movie, but I’ve seen better plotlines than that. It’s about as nonsensical as a LarryBoy short, but that’s VeggieTales. They’re supposed to be nonsensical.

I made the post on my smart phone, and I either ended up accidentally hitting ‘o’ instead of the ‘p’ or it auto-corrected to ‘soy’ rather ‘spy’.

Our idiot Brother 7/10

A very interesting life story.

Conan the Barbarian (2011)

Not bad, but I was expecting much more.

Rewatched Saving Private Ryan

They really should’ve killed that German at the MG42…

Shaun of the Dead. Again. Brilliantly funny film, if for some strange reason you havent seen it before… go watch it now!

I saw “The Muppets” yesterday. I have to say that the start was a bit rocky and the songs at the beginning were a little bit jarring but as the movie progressed, it got better and by the time all the Muppets were coming back together again, it was great. Great fourth wall humor, some very surprising cameos, and [spoilers in the black] [COLOR=‘Black’]re-done opening of “The Muppet Show” was one of the most awesome things I’ve seen this year. The song “Man or Muppet” however was, in my opinion, the stupidest song but it was well done.

I give it a 85%. Lost points due to the rocky opening.

I had a bunch of friends who went to see that on Sunday. Sadly, I couldn’t go, because I am dirt poor.

I have a man crush on Donald Glover and NPH.

Danny Glover could kick Donald Glover’s ass any day of the week, and NPH is for those who are too young and homo to watch Kevin Costner instead.

My sentiments exactly, though I did enjoy the ‘Man or Muppet’ song. “Sheldon” as the Muppet brother (can’t recall their names) was a genius move. Course it was nonsensical, but so is the whole movie.

I saw Tenacious D and The Pick of Destiny for the first time. Loved it. If it was anyone else, but Jack Black, it wouldn’t have worked. I liked how that was tied in as an origin story for his band. Good stuff.

The Glovers can coexist peacefully and Kevin Costner sucked in every movie he was in that wasn’t about baseball. But whatever makes you feel vindicated in your desire to have adult massages with old men.

Strange, the baseball one was the only one that sucked (which is weird for me to say considering it had James Earl Jones in it). Your mind is just too simple to appreciate the rest of Costner’s work.

Robin Hood was pretty good. And Water World was decent. (but too long) Been too long since I’ve seen any other Costner movies to judge them accurately.
