The Last Film You Saw.

Super 8. It was pretty mint. 5/5.

Saw a couple movies this weekend:

Percy Jackson and The Lightning Bolt Thief; pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Just your typical young adult fantasy adventure.

The Muppets; Excellent. Definitely not the greatest movie ever, but it’s about as good as every other Muppet movie.

Unknown

Wasn’t bad. I figured a few things out on my own, though I’m not sure if that was because I read some things about it when it came out and put it together from that, or just because I figured it out. Don’t care either. Wasn’t good enough to put any more thought into it.

I saw that in theaters. Taken was really a better movie though- the end of Unknown owes much to the works of Robert Ludlum.

Taken was very good, but I will always prefer the cheesy Commando more than Taken. It just has that cheesy 80s vibe that can get me to sit through almost any nonsense.

Ahh, can’t wait for the tree trimming party. Then I get to watch my favorite Christmas movie of all time: Die Hard.

Do people actually hold parties to trim trees, or is this post homosexual-slang?

Because “Die Hard” sounds like a pretty decent porn.

…Yes, there actually are tree trimming parties. At least the family ones I’ve been at. No crazy wild sex there. And thank fucking God for that.

haha

^ First immaculate-conception joke this holiday season

And ironically from someone raised Catholic. Oh, the irony!

You ain’t made no joke, nigga.

It’s true, it wasn’t funny until Strangelove pointed it out.

True, but sometimes I’ll toss something into a sentence that’s begging to be dissected by another member purely for potential lulz.

haha

Just watched the 1982 The Thing. Excellent movie.

I watched Super 8 with my family while I was home. Not too bad; a bit disjointed in parts, though.

Also, I watched The Phantom Menace on Spike’s Star Wars marathon. I forgot how dumb that movie was.

The theater near my house is showing that one again… Yuck.

Watched Hugo and it was one of the best films I’ve watched in a long time.
