The Last Film You Saw.

omg. Anyone else here watch Hulu? I’ve just started watching the show Jeremiah, a post-apocalypse show 15 years after a virus killed everyone over puberty, and I’m quite digging it.

During some commercial breaks, Hulu ask you to pick between 3 ads (for the same product). I’m not exactly sure why there’s an option… I guess it keeps viewers engaged since they have to pick an ad to return to their show as soon as possible…

Anyway, I just got one one of those choose-your-ad-experience things which I was really really happy to see. It was an ad for Hatfields & McCoys. The options were “Bill Paxton as McCoy”, “Kevin Costner as Hatfield”, or a generic “Hatfield and McCoy” advertisement.

I got to pick Kevin Costner!!! :awesome:

edit: On a related note,

YES, YES! MORE COSTNER PLEASE!

MUAHAHAHAAHAAA!

GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER.

I just got back from watching the Avengers. Awesome action and interaction between the individuals in the Avengers. Nice mixture of action with comedy. However, the weak point here was, in my opinion, [COLOR=‘Black’]Loki. He was supposed to be this awesome villain who has as much might as the Avengers or whatever and his outfit (with those huge horns) was a bit silly. And he wouldn’t have been anything without opening that portal to let all those aliens in. But, still, it was a good movie. 3 stars out of 5.

A friend and I were heading to the theaters prepared to see The Avengers, but with a last-minute decision we saw Chernobyl Diaries instead.

Very enjoyable, surprisingly good for the horror genre… but toward the end it, felt rushed (as the fear-of-the-unknown wore off from exposure). Yet when they returned to civilization and you saw where they ended up, it was pretty awesome still.

It did feel short. I guess I’m not used to movies whose first half is set-up. Interesting set-up, but still set-up nonetheless.

For you Chernobyl fans out there, there’s a brief chunk in the middle which gave me a STALKER-vibe. Specifically,* [color=‘black’]investigating traces of some fighting in a junkyard,

  • [color=‘black’]running from a pack of deranged dogs, and
  • [color=‘black’]returning to find damage only a Burer or Pseudogiant could have wrought.
Oh, and I forgot* [color=‘black’]how the place they found Yuri reminded me of a Bloodsucker’s lair and
  • [color=‘black’]their descent into the underground lab.

Despite those little observations, don’t expect STALKER from this flick. Knowing that, you should be alright and have a good time. I give it 3/5.

Men In Black III was not as awful as I foresaw. In fact, I kinda liked it.

It’s weird. It starts off like it’s going to be absolute shit, then gets interesting. It’s like a really long okay episode of the MIB animated series.

Okay what the fuck? I really had no control over that.

Well, since this post is here, I’ll just note that I thought it was interesting that the main villain a mini voltogore as a pet.

Yeah I just saw MIB III today too. It was about what I expected. It was pretty good. Not amazing, but still good. Josh Brolin’s performance as the young K was definitely the highlight of the movie.

What I just couldn’t get over was that Boris was played by Jemaine Clement, aka the guy on the left here. Just kinda kept smiling about it the whole movie. Bill Hader as Andy Warhol made me lol too.

Same here.
Throughout the whole movie, whenever Boris mentioned his missing arm, I was like “You got hurt feelings”
Oh god. MIBIII will never be the same

The day after my birthday is not my birthday, mum!

I knew he looked familiar, but couldn’t put my finger on it.

About Bill Hader: the only time I have laughed at him was in Tropic Thunder. I wish they’d had Will Arnett for more than 30 seconds.

I saw MIB3 yesterday btw.

For anyone who goes, there’s nothing after the credits. Don’t waste your time sitting through godawful autotune poprap with brostep thrown in for extra douchebaggery. If there’s any aspect MIBIII truly TRULY fucked up, it’s the song.

The Human Centipede 2. Speechless.

Even more SUPER REALISTIC than the FIRST ONE!!!

Watched Star Trek Nemesis for the first time.

I actually rather liked it, and it was probably the first Trek movie I enjoyed since Undiscovered Country

The Untouchables ~ 6/10
Having seen 90% of IMDBs top 200 films I realised that I hadn’t watched The Untouchables all the way through. I had seen parts, but not the whole thing from start to finish.

It was meh. In 1987 when it was released and people didn’t know any better I could imagine that this was seen as a pretty awesome film. But now not so.

Also, it was as historically accurate as Godzilla appearing in Gladiator.

Yeah, people know better today:

I wonder how long it will take before they’ll think the same about the Holocaust

The Holocaust never happened. It’s just made up by the Jews so they can have even more power, Everybody knows that.:retard:

Saw Slipp Jimmy fri again.(Or Free Jimmy, if you prefer the english title). I would never watch this movie in any other language than Norwegian, although the subtitles is way off since the swedish subtitles are for the dubbed English version.
