The Avengers imax 3d. Pretty much the most amazing thing ever.
I just came back from Iron Sky.
Holy fucking shit.
That was probably the most glorious thing I’ve ever seen, and I am saddened by the fact that nothing will ever compare to it.
Fucking Space Nazis, man. By fucking Finns.
Fuck.
Today I watched The Big Lebowski for the first time.
It has it’s moments, but it felt mostly pointless in the end. Not in a good way.
Yeah, well, that’s just, like, your opinion, man.
[COLOR=‘Black’]BET NO ONE SAW THAT ONE COMING
I almost forgot!
On Wednesday, I saw the Avengers with some buds, which was great.
On Friday, I saw Wrath of the Titans at a dollar theater with some buds. What a pile of shit. It was in 3D, which didn’t help at all. It just made it a blurry, incomprehensible pile of shit.
Put on the glasses next time

I saw X-Men: First Class last night. I would put it right up there between the first two X-Men movies. Very quality. Mystique’s story line was a little rushed, and I get the feeling Darwin should have survived that, but still an entertaining movie.
Haywire - good, Session 9 - bad, Cashback - ok, Coriolanus - dunno, apparently I physically can’t watch a movie in verse, Anonymous - meh, Mission Impossible GP - terrible.
Battleship. hah.
You mean Transformers with water around ?
If I ever had the inclination to remove Al Pacino from my sig, I would replace it with this.
You’re not gonna want to do that. The signature system has suffered some changes. Links are no longer allowed.
Same with right-aligned formatting. Which I find incomprehensible, because right-aligning signatures is the most reasonable positioning. Content of posts should start at the left of the posting-area, and the content of these posts should be capped by an avatar at their top-left and a signature at their bottom-right… with mild whitespace beneath. It is ideal for a scrolling and incessantly expanding forum.
Really?
Really?
Well, to each his own, but I don’t agree with those assessments at all.
Not really a movie but I caught the last episode of Sherlock tonight. Oh how I wish there were more episodes each season. Though 3 1.5 hour episodes is sort of average by British TV standards I guess.
Monkey Business with Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers. Very funny.
My girlfriend made me watch Water for Elephants, so I made her watch Freddy Got Fingered. Sweet revenge.
That’s what I expected, but ended up getting Starship Troopers where the acting was bad because the actors were bad, and not because they were told to overdo it.
They established that the Aliens may have had semi peaceful intent, but then went full on “MURICA HURR KILL EM ALL”.
This man speaks truth.
I want to see Battleship because it looks so bad. The only question is, is it the right level of bad-ness that it deserves my money, or should I just wait until Netflix gets it?
Netflix probably. I saw a TV spot for the game. Battleship was turned into a frickin’ FPS. Why? The best way to utilize the license would have been to make some sort of strategy game. I dunno, like Battleship?

Yeah.
I watched The Matrix last night. Yeah, still my favorite movie.
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Highly recommended for anyone who likes Miyazaki films. Like other films of his, it does have a social commentary in it, but I didn’t feel it was too heavy-handed. Others might though. Weird thing though, at the end, when [COLOR=‘Black’]the giant fires its weapon the second time, its scream sounds way different and, IMO, a lot more disturbing and threatening in the Japanese version than the English. Wonder why that is…I don’t think any of the other sound effects were altered.
The Station Agent. Peter Dinklage is just… man I can’t get over how much I love that movie.
Avoid it if you don’t enjoy character driven movies.
