The Last Film You Saw.

Grave Encounters. I like these kind of films, The shrine, REC etc. Except for Paranormal activity, those films sucks.

Test audiences were complaining that the movie was too slow. They replaced the Practical shots with CG to speed up the process, and cut out a shitload of lower key scenes/ suspense.

Fuck the studios.

I’ve been watching the old Men In Black Cartoon. Not really a movie, but still fucking awesome.
I seriously miss shows like this.

I’ve actually been watching the 90s spidey cartoon myself

Also found out the intro song was performed by Aerosmith

I learned that through the show itself :stuck_out_tongue:
I think it was when he was testing out the symbiote’s camo powers. It got a little 4th wall-y.

Back on topic: If there’s one thing The Thing prequel got right, it was the score.

So people were complaining about tension building in a movie where anyone could be the monster. People are stupid.

I dread what people would think if they were to see the original movie in theaters now. It’s one of the best horror movies ever, and test audiences today would complain about every little thing as if they know anything.

Man I loved to watch those shows. All those 90’s cartoons were great. I know it sounds like just nostalgia speaking but I seriously think they were really good compared to previous cartoons. Maybe it’s because they stopped making them as ads to sell toys and actually put some thought into them?

I watched MS3TK: Manhunt in Space the other day. MST3K really feels hit or miss to me, and this was a miss for me. Though it did have a few good lines - “I am talking to you on a Jimmy Dean sausage!”

I actually noticed in the episodes I watched so far there were several sexual innuendos, and there was even one episode where it

was talking about control rods for a nuclear reactor and they actually explained it correctly and intelligently - which came as a

surprise to me because I figured they wouldn’t pay such attention to detail in a show whose target audience would never know

what the word fission means.

Which is the Joke. The best kind of joke.

“Why are people speaking silly languages? I want my foreigners speaking with a slightly off-English accent, but still perfectly understandable!”

“OH MY GOD THEY HURT A DOG I’M CALLING PETA”

“Pft. Kurt Russell was better in The Big Lebowski, and I should know because I’ve seen that movie FIFTY TIMES and he’s definitely the actor in it. Definitely.”

“WHY IS THERE MORE THAN ONE BALCK CHARACTER THIS IS ANTI WHITE PROPAGANDA”

Not a movie again, but I’ve been watching the Spider-man TAS show and I’m going through the last season, and the 60th episode’s ending combined with the voice acting has to be one of the most shocking and saddening scenes I’ve ever seen in a cartoon like, ever, especially when you see it from the beginning of the proper episode arc

The Avengers

It was indeed awesome.

Also: 90’s cartoons rocked. I miss shows like that.

The Trollenberg Terror ( 1958 ) aka The Crawling Eye.

Just love those old 50’s sci-fi movies.

man, FUCK whoever cancelled this show’s 6th season. Instead of a proper ending I get to see Spidey swinging around with Stan Lee and a cliffhanger ending. :FFFUUU:

I had a twofer tonight: Coriolanus and Shame. Both excellent.

I read that as Coitus and Shame

Hands up, everyone else who saw that?

I’m illiterate.

Coincidentally, that’s the name of my autobiography.

Street Trash. Feuding homeless people and a magic liquor that melts whoever has a sip.

It’s like a fusion of The Stuff and The Thing, with the kind of mood you’ll see in Return of The Living dead.
