The amount of money that was spent in the past two days on this is astounding. Like the new weapon and hats, like the way valve did it. I was really hoping for a TF2 Meet the team video, not only because they are awesome but because I want to be one step closer to that darn program they use for their videos.
Even if there are benefit-only items, they’ll be nerfed pretty soon.

I have to say I’m surprised at the number of idiots who actually bought stuff. Not that I really care, but why don’t people just play the game normally?

Oh and one more thing I forgot. That’s a shame that our old weapons became just “Vingate”. They should’ve got some cool special ability (nothing that would inflict gamplay much), something that after 3 years would make new players evny. I can’t think of any example now, but making them just blue and changing their name ain’t enough.

The more money they spend the more money VALVe gets and the more money they can use to make better games/updates. I personally have no problem with it since they aren’t blocking me off from actually using fun items but just a few hats and cosmetic stuff.

I found the Mann co box. The game forces me a little bit to buy a damn key. but I will wait. Maybe there will be a way to craft it…
there’s no way to craft keys. you have to buy them. they can drop, but at about the same rate as hats. trade the crate away.
You guys know that just because there is an option to buy the stuff its not like valve is having low drop rates to force you to buy them. If it weren’t for the buying thing no one would be saying anything. The crates give SPECIAL HATS. Valve wants these hats to be more RARE. If anything without the payment system you would just be crying about it being TOO RARE and HARD TO GET.

They had it finished at some point but they weren’t happy with it so they went back to the drawing board, goddammit VALVe!

Do you really think that? And if so, who would pay for it? The items offered are of premium quality and many people still won’t buy anything.
See above; do you really think so? Add-on weapon stats seem to get adjusted with relative frequency but it doesn’t necessarily improve the balance of the game (I’m looking at Natascha here)
I agree; it just lets the good players get better and frustrates everyone else. I played today with a friend who hadn’t played TF2 since, maybe the first item update, and he told me the exact same thing. The complexity is great for hardcore players but it makes the game thick for newcomers who may not even understand the mechanics of the base weapons, not to mention the intricacies of items found via drops or from the store.
FUCK NATASCHA. fuck it until it dies and fuck everyone who uses it. i’d love to have it so a few of the actual weapons could only be bought (and i still wouldnt) to see natascha gone for fucking ever.
As long as Pyro and Scout rushes still happen, I will use Natascha no matter what anyone says.
i don’t heal heavies using natascha. i don’t care if it makes me a bad medic.

I would simply say that there are no unlock servers without listing one but this is literally the ONLY one that I’ve found. Its also less than 24 hrs old.
