Looking at the comments the game might not live up the hype. Combat to me seems even more simple than oblivion. No one is blocking they are all just slashing.
To reiterate on my pretty much only point, I don’t care about combat. You just click a lot at a target, just like in Oblivion and Morrowind. Thats all I expect.

You start in a horse-ridden cart with some other fellows. They are arguing about how fine everything was in the Empire until the Stormcloaks started making trouble. Some other guys says to you that you were only trying to cross the border and aren’t part of the rebels. After the ride you get out of the cart with the other prisoners and some Imperial soldier notes everyone’s name. This is the part where you choose how your character looks. After that the execution begins. A guy gets beheaded and then it’s your turn. I must say when your character lies down at this flat rock and looks at the executioner it is pretty scary. I’m sure you all know what happens afterwards. Dragon comes and you escape but you can’t do anything as your hands are binded. You follow some guy into a basement which leads to a cave. After 20 minutes you’re out of the dungeon.

Ok, need some opinions. If my PC just barely passes the minimum system requirements, should I pick this up for PC or 360?
What are your system specs?
Well, like I said, I only meet minimum system specs. But if you want specifics:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 5200+
4 gb RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4850
Vista SP2 32-bit
System requirements are kinda bullshit most of the time because it never takes screen resolution into account.
I’m pretty sure your PC will be able to run the game just fine. Maybe not with everything maxed, of course, but good enough to be playable on medium settings.
Right. So would the graphics be comparable to or better than the 360’s? I would normally assume yes, but someone on a different site said TES games look terrible with lower graphics settings (I’ve never played one before so I wouldn’t know), to the point of ruining or at least hampering the experience. Obviously, if this is going to be the case, I want to get it for 360. But before I make a decision I want to clarify that this guy is full of shit, so I don’t miss out on mods and such by getting it for console.
That’s basing it off the old engine but they’re using a new engine, so who knows really.
Still, get the PC version. Not only are you getting the best version of the game, you’re also getting thousands of mods and better graphics if you eventually upgrade your computer.
That’s what I’ll do then. Even if it does look worse, I can’t see that being game-breaking.
