TES V announced at last - it's Skyrim!

You’ll be able to play between medium-high settings. The game should look great still too. But of course, your resolution plays a big factor. Having a large resolution with a high anti-aliasing setting on can really put a number on your fps performance so it really depends. I usually play with anti-aliasing on low or even off so I can tweak other graphic settings to be higher.

I’d say go for pc because you can always tweak it with mods and with the dev console, and I personally think TES games have always been better to play on pc. i’ve played Oblivion on the xbox and I thought playing it on the pc was better.

EDIT: ninja’d. Maxey is right about who even knows yet because they’re using a new engine and it may be more optimized. So in that case, I would lean towards PC even more.

God 12 more fuckin days.

I watched the leaked video up 'til the chopping block and then quit so as to not spoil anymore. It was alright, though the voice acting wasn’t perfect, especially with the American accented kid that randomly blurts out and ruins the immersion. :hmph:

Other than that, it looked fine.

Goddamn Americans

Yeah, fuck Americans ruining Elder Scrolls.

Those damn Americans ruin everything.

Do you guys think Skyrim will have an Arena like the Imperial City did?

I wanna be a badass gladiator again, except of Skyrim.

It would be stupid for them to not include such a popular thing from a predecessor.

The Arena wasn’t that great in Oblivion IMO. The area itself was tiny, and you never got the feeling of being a true champion.

I thought it was a blast. :3

The ten spectators really killed any feeling of epic battle.

Hardly a problem: https://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2027#

What got me with the arena was, no matter my sneak skill, they would always spot me as soon as the match started. The arena was decent, and had a bit of unexpected story thrown in for the final battle.

I don’t remember if the 100% chameleon spell my assassin had worked or not >_>

I liked having to wear a raiment and fight different unique characters from the other team.

I turned up the difficulty whenever I would do the Arena too. The first time i did it, it was simply “gates fall, combatant runs toward me, bitch slap across the face with an axe, victory is mine.”

Having enemies that could actually kill you if you didn’t stick to strategy and combat skills in the arena made it more fun and rewarding in the end.

Yeah it sounded fucking retarded. The voice actor should be punched in the face bacause he ruins the experience and his ignorance of course.

Now, I didn’t watch the video, but I don’t think it was a voice actor. I think it was some random person who decided to narrate the video that wasn’t working with Bethesda.

Video is old, but some interesting info on how they made the art:

How will my PC run skyrim:
-4GB RAM
-Intel Core i3 530 @ 2.93Ghz
-Ati radeon HD 5670
-Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit

And 16km map thingy is squared right? It sound small after playing ARMA 2 :3

Nah, Beth replaced the arena with travelling to a mountain top and stripping all armor, so every match you fight your opponent with your bare hands naked in the snow. [COLOR=‘Black’]It would be awesome if it was true wouldn’t it?
