I call shenanigans. Oblivion looks a lot better than that. Whoever took the pic either has a shitty computer and disabled all lighting to make the game run better or is a troll.

Honestly I don’t get the praise Elsweyr gets. Yeah, they put a lot of time into it, but its spread way to thin and ultimately is a pretty shit mod.
Although if Bethesda uses it as an excuse not to do Elsweyr I’m all for it, I hate deserts.

Actually I was mostly referring to the stock oblivion trees that had patches of leaves that followed you whenever you turned like sprites do in a 2.5d game, but w/e.
It bugs me to no end when developers still use that technique today. Model that shit and have slightly less of it FFS.

I’ve finally gotten my hands on Skyrim. However I’m now undecided as to whether I will be playing with mods or not. Any suggestions? I guess I’m afraid it may break the single player experience somehow. Are there any must have mods that anyone knows about that are stable and will enrich the single player experience?
