TES V announced at last - it's Skyrim!

Ah, yes… Release day, the very same one I’ve been dreading since I made the resolution to not buy it until there’s a sale on it…
I no longer like this plan, but I already used up my money on other stuff. Mark my words, Bethesda: YOU WILL BE PURCHASED FROM.

30 minutes into it, and I delivered a letter in a side quest for a bard. After doing so he apparently thought I was so awesome he was willing to follow me around.

Bard added to party.

Holy shit I thought Bethesda would have made things better than in Oblivion and Fallout 3 but nooo. Still sucks at the same level of any Bethesda game.

found this a while ago, fixes it.

Installed the game, now downloading ~200MB worth of patches.

I must say, the map is higher quality than I thought it would be. I figured it would be printed on some thin glossy poster paper, but it’s printed on some thick rough paper.

Amazingly, this is the first Bethesda game I’ve had zero technical issues with at launch. It runs great, looks great…no lockups or weird graphics shit at all.

/\ Same, except i had an issue with voices that the above sound thing fixed. It’s surprisingly stable.

Also, I actually like the followers in this game too. Bethesda, you actually listened and fixed so many dumb oblivion things. The world is also beautiful, definitely feels more unique and like morrowind.

The game now runs fine for me, but am having a few issues with low quality/ muffled dialog in places, I can’t lower the sound frequency in the control panel anymore because sound stops coming out completely otherwise.

Get out.

I think your supposed to raise it, I put mine to 24 bit, 44100 Hz and that stopped the bug completely for me.

Also, you can fish in Skyrim…with your bare hands

The Nords are such assholes. They keep on insulting the Imperial race while I’m literally right fucking there.

Yeah, the ones who captured us were dickholes but not all of us are dickholes.

Haha are you serious? That’s awesome that they thought to put that in there.

It’s pretty intense

Fucking hell, they need to put in more autosaves, i was at the end of a dungeon and was killed ON IMPACT by this spike trap thing. Now I have to do the dungeon over again.

I am pretty much overwhelmed by all the content in the game. There are only two things bothering me: UI not fit for the PC, it could be better but it’s not so bad after you get used to it. The second thing is the stiff controls. IIRC controls were smoother somehow.

Save more often

The aren’t referring to Imperial race, they are talking about the Imperial Empire. And supporters.

I like how I got into my first brawl, and accidentally hit someone who got in the middle, which gave me a 40 gold bounty -_-

I loaded my last save, did the fight again, got 100g, and the person I fought was all “you’re cool I’mma follow you now.”

This game has a lot of problems: Ragdolls are a mess, NPCs are still stupid, combat is basically Oblivions, and my mouse sensitivity is incredibly low, and, like every other TES game I’ve played, I couldn’t care less. The world is incredible and thats all that matters.

Although a fix for that sensitivity thing would be nice.

Disable all gamepad support and disable Mouse Acceleration.

I plugged in my xbox controller and then disabled it via ingame option and voila my mouse movement feels a lot more natural. I don’t know if it was just a coincidence but maybe.
