TES V announced at last - it's Skyrim!

The map and items lists look/act like Fable 3.

The music in the first gameplay video made me wet.

HUGE REVEAL YOU CAN PLAY AS A VAMPIRE

Already knew that :expressionless:

All I gotta say is dear god, it looks fucking awesome!

The item system in Fable 3 was annoying. And it’s obvious from everything we’ve seen that opening the menu to choose items doesn’t put you in a room where you walk over to a weapon and equip it. The map system in Fable 3 was fancy, though.

I’m all “it sounds exactly like Oblivion. Only with dragons.”

And all the best mods seamlessly integrated with it.

in a totally new landspace.

with better graphics.

and dynamic snow. :freeman:

Oh, I ment item system in Fable 2.

but my video also revealed a Do Want skyrim store item: Nordic barbarian beanie hat with horns. :jizz:

I was referring to vampirism :meh:

If you guys head down to gametrailers.com and watch the e3 demonstrations you will be pleased. They really captured my gaming boner with the ability to stab sum1 at the sound of an epic score playing in the background. Its gets a 10 just for soundtrack in my mind.

This is Skyrim for real men:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hD-KZsmBl4

haha very nice. Sweet find, Kaddo.

How bout less gaming boner and moar linkage?

Sounds like i won’t need to import all the old Elder Scrolls soundtracks into Skyrim now. ‘Silt Sunrise’ from Morrowind is apparently already recomposed and thrown into the game’s exploration repertoire.

Not sure that’s a good thing. Either they’re tossing in old music to cut corners or adding gems for nostalgia’s sake.

nostalgia’s sake. You seriously think they are cutting corners in Skyrim, dude? They are putting their blood and sweat into so many details that prolly won’t even be seen on even the fourth playthrough of the game. And they are known for the soundtracks they make for TES. I’m sure they chose that tune for nostalgic purposes on Morrowind fans.

-snip-

Well, after hearing both songs back-to-back, moreorless at the same time, i don’t think the song was actually redone. if they actually went through the effort of re-orchestrating the whole thing with the same sheet music and musical arrangement, it’d be totally pointless if the sound was exactly the same.

However, they could have re-recorded the track with separate tracks for better surround sound. The bit heard in the Skyrim video could easily segue into a newer piece of music as well. The music jumped into a battle theme shortly after the 30 second mark.

It’s bscly ear-sex.

But I don’t want hearing-aids! D:

Better than Hearpes.
