Storm the Keep gameplay

I hope combat won’t look like that in the final game, because that just screams oblivion all over again.

And what the hell was up with that finishing move at the end? I could tell it was a finisher, but it didn’t really seem like the type of thing you have as a finisher. Plus the transition from animation>ragdoll was

How exactly do you want the combat to be though? I mean it’s mostly melee combat and there’s only so much you can do with that.

I thought the animations and finisher was done really well. It looks really natural. The finishers flowed nicely with the combat too. I thought the finishers would be a bad thing bc they would look corny or delayed/choppy, but it looks actually pretty badass.

Well I was hoping that the combat would flow better in third person, Though maybe the player just made it look awkward.

Did that Khajiit just pick up that wolf by the neck and axe it in the face?
i’ve never wanted non-lethal combat more in a game than now. i’d like to see what kind of finishing moves there are in other weapon classes and see if there are perks you can utilize to active or deactivate them. For once, i’d like my character to be able to flee and evade or act in a defensive manner. Not completely fearless and freakishly brutal. i don’t like playing as merciless, muscle-bound assholes…all the time.

No.

It’s better than fallout to be sure.

It’s also better than daggerfall.

Otherwise, it looks pretty lackluster, unless you like 30+ choices of dirt.

Decidedly better than Oblivion, which is all you can ask of a sequel.

Not really, though.

What I saw said pick nose, pick mouth, etc.

We are back to the gamecube era of sims here.

hey it’s not even out yet. and that vid of character creation only showed 30 seconds of a khajiit. I’m sure there’s more to it.

There will be no finer game than Skyrim to pick our noses in.

Oblivion had more options, yes, and they all ended up in ugly as hell characters.

As long as I can tweak things to look like who I want I’d be happy. Sure, oblivion you could make some monstrosities, but you could also replicate people pretty well:

Yeah, and the devs have hours upon hours to make every single NPC in the game. You want realism, you loose customization. But honestly, you really shouldn’t care.

Only for the people who didn’t know what they were doing.

What they should have done for skyrim was have a raging nub folder where you could pick some premade steryotypical barbarian heroes, and then an indepth creator where you could really make somthing unique.

Anyways, I’m still pretty excited for Skyrim. Just a little bit seriously dissapointed with the first 5 hours (ohwait 5 minutes, we don’t have oblivion customization anymore) of it.
