The enthusiasm they claim the devs have for making the game makes me hopeful. If that’s not just an advertising ploy and the devs at Dice really are that into making SWBFIII then that gives me hope that they’ll make it right.

I have faith in Dice on this one. Besides, how hard is it really to make a Battlefront game? They’d have to really try in order to fuck it up.

Oh, that’s a relief. Even if it’s just battlefield + star wars + third person I’d still play it.

sure hope the flying mechanics arent like bfield3 (which i personally hated)

they should use swbfront2’s flying mechanics for both planetary and space (because star wars flying is all about flying through tight areas during dog fights)

i also hope they will have as much fighter variety as battlefront 2 (ie. standard fighters, intercepters, bombers, transports etc. and maybe more) if not more

I hope the color palette is more like Battlefront 1 than 2. Battlefront 2’s Endor was really washed out compared to Battlefront 1.

i hope the new battlefront covers more than just clonewars/galactic civil war time periods

it would be cool to fight against imperial remanants, the one sith, Yuuzon Vong etc.

i also would be amazed if the super weapons played a role in gameplay (deathstar space battle; galaxy gun siege; Sun Crusher hunt etc.)

As awesome as all this would be, I can’t help but feel we’re gonna see none of that and they’re gonna play it sickenlingly safe.
