well, actually there is a problem - there is a delay before someone’ll find a way to play global servers online, but i don’t like active social life and huge gathering of unknown people, i prefer singleplayer, so that’s not a problem to me; moreover, for short tournaments in something like TF2 or cs :s there always is local network .)

Okay, I have completed one step out of the three steps needed to get the “STALKER Complete 2009” mod runnig.
"[i]1) In the main STALKER directory (by default it’s “C:\Program Files\THQ\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl”,
and for Steam users “Steam\SteamApps\Common\Stalker shadow of Chernobyl”), locate file “fsgame.ltx”,
open with Notepad and change both variables in this line to “true”:
$game_data$ = true| true| $fs_root$|[/i]"
I can’t find it.
"[i]3) In the “user.ltx” file change gloss factor to 2.5:
r2_gloss_factor 2.5[/i]"
I have no idea how to change the gloss factor to 2.5

You’d think so but you’d be wrong.
The “$game_date@ =true| true|” thing should be in the STALKER folder where the game files are. The “user.ltx” is in "Documents And Settings\All Users\Shared Documents*I forget the name, but has to do with STALKER’s Name*.
I changed both, but the mod crashes for me whenever it finishes loading. Shame, really. I wanted to try it pretty badly.
Fixed. I realise that attempt at subtlety might result in confusion. Here’s a clue: nothing.
