Sprint?

If you don’t want sprint, don’t press the SHIFT key.:freeman:

fuck this post :pirate:

How about wobblyness if that wasn’t mentioned? I thought it was cool like in Battlefield Bad Co. 2, it gave me a better sense of the sprint feature and compared to HL2’s it felt stiff. On the other hand gordon has help with the suit for his sprint so i can understand that his isn’t as shifty soo there’s my 2 cents.

Holy fuck! That’s some big necropost right there. You revived a thread from almost a year ago.

Would have been perfect when he posted this in 9 days… god I hate cockroaches

shit, nevermind.

People start a new thread to discuss something that is discussed in another thread- they get flamed for not using the search feature.

People use the search feature and find a thread that is relevant to something they want to talk about- they get flamed for necroposting.

Life is unfair.

fixed

hehe… in doom you could sprint almost as fast as a launched rocket…

anyway…

it’s fine if sprinting will be like in hl2, i like that better but for those who like the hl1 type techique i think there should be an option to toggle the “always run”

EDIT: hmm… i just reallised what an ancient thread this is. sahry… but it’s not that much of a necropost since NoPetrol just got flammed 4 days ago…

It still burns.

Be glad you don’t use petrol or you would’ve been set on fire

Haha wow. I’m glad someone stated the necroposting. I was about to correct Raminator’s post saying that sprinting is not infinite.

So sprinting will be infinite?

Yes

Any word on whether Sprint will be a press-and-hold action, or toggle-able? Or will there be an “always run” setting in options?

I’m pretty sure sprinting won’t be toggle-able, but I don’t know whether there will be such an option for permanent sprinting.

Unless something changed, I believe Raminator said you can sprint indefinitely.

There are some console commands to enable sprint toggling. I’m too lazy to dig them up right now though.

Go fucking die, fever.
