Who in their right mind binds things to the alt key?
As long as alt is next to the space bar, I can see his sound reasoning.

fun fact: you can press alt in hl2 to walk slightly slower than usual. It’s the same speed you move at without the suit on. (and since movement speed isn’t cheat protected you can change it to sprinting speed)
Walking is alt by default, but listed in the keyboard options. I never use walk, is it useful in HL2?
I suppose you could use it in the same way people do knife runs, just to prove you beat the game while impaired.
It’s really not useful in the slightest. The decrease in movement speed is so unnoticeable that it’s hardly an impairment at all. If that’s what you want try crouching.
Awesome keyboard! what is it called?
Its an Ideazon Merc. I forget where I bought it, I believe off amazon. Once you adjust, it is very comfortable. One minor complaint is that you cannot have the num lock enabled if you want to use the delete key.
The primary reason I bought it is kind of humorous. Ive used a pc for all of my life and always used the arrow keys for all my games. When the time came that games required more buttons and I was running out of keys around the arrows, I couldn’t use WASD because I hate the W and S keys not lining up.
Wow, why don’t they just sell it by itself so you could use it with your own keyboard? or so that you don’t always have to have your keyboard taking up an extra foot of space (okay, it probably is only about 6 inches, but that’s still a lot of space when it comes to the amount of space you have on most computer desks.
not to mention it’s piss ugly
I don’t really mind, I am not a woman so aesthetics aren’t as important as functionality.

Nice try, but that generalisation holds because BM possesses the functionality of HL while improving aesthetics. BM will at least be as functional as HL…I hope lol.
Also, the premise of this mod isnt simply aesthetics over functionality, compared to HL you are improving the gameplay as well (i.e. improved AI, physics).
