Looks cool, hope you keep the preview function in.
alright, mouse acceleration checkbox and mouse speed sliders are in(X and Y + a checkbox for syncing both).
About that sound problem: did you try to set you audio system settings to 2.0?
Skyrim usually auto-detects what sound channels to use by checking the system settings.
The key mappings can’t be done yet, but in the next update as mentioned by a Bethesda dev.(there isn’t even a file for key mappings yet)
EDIT: also added a FOV slider
also a download like would come in handy
Didn’t you read? He is just making this for himself and using it to fuck with people.
yeah, I only use it myself and won’t publish this…
no seriously, it’s just not done yet, but if everything works fine you can expect a first release tomorrow, but with some missing options, because I need to figure out how they work.
I was working on something like this but cba’d to finish it, yours looks better anyway.
Also, you stole my screenshot.
no
Preview in action:
alright, I think I fixed all bugs and can release a first build tomorrow, but the first build won’t include anything regarding models and their LODs, also no sound option and no keyboard mapping settings.(key mapping is hard-coded atm, next patch fixes that)
Sorry for that, but as mentioned before I have to figure out how exactly the variables change the visuals in-game and how they change the sound.
I can tell you the options available in the next build:
-Sound:
–Volumes
couldn’t find more vars there yet, maybe you found one or two?
-Models:
–LOD Distances, to control how detailed models are in the distance.
–toggling VS30 Grass shader and grass fade distances
–toggling animated trees + how many of them are rendered
-Shadows:
–shadow mapping bias scale
–Shadow,light,specular LOD/fade distances
EDIT:
What do you think about the logo?
(open in new tab with white background)
could need some help there.
This reminds me of porn.
I like porn.
For some reason Skyrim won’t recognize my system’s audio settings. Actually, nothing does. Even if i set my settings to “headphones”, i still have surround sound issues with games. The only exceptions are source games; Half-Life and Portal games all have a headphone option that fixes it. Also, there was a custom ini tweaker for Oblivion i used that had key mapping and headphone settings in it. i know it’s a new game engine, but Beth always keep the same console commands and similar functions in every game so i thought it might be the same in Skyrim.

alright, version 1.0 is out!
I hope you like it.
There are currently only previews for MSAA, AF and texture quality.
Next version will be release in approximately 6 days, if everything works like it should.
Preview picture doesn’t seem to work.
Other than that, seems to work pretty well. Game will crash if I set water reflections too high but at least the mouse view is now fixed.
yeah, added the wrong dll files, compiling the correct ones right now.
im liking this
alright, fixed the preview now.
I like how he is holding the wrench and tool instead of swords.
Except it’s all black to me.
released version 1.1 with new model options and more.
Also added a backup system, so if you fuck something up you can restore your previous settings
Hey pfannkuchen_gesicht, can you add me on Steam? Just click on my Steam profile on the bottom right of my post and add me from there.
Hi there,
When using this excellent tool, and using my native resolution of 2560x1600, the in-game resolution gets screwed up. It looks as if you have zoomed in a great deal and stretched the visuals.
It works in all other resolutions that come pre-defined in the Config Editor.
Of course I tried using the “custom resolution” and added 2560x1600. I also tested using it with the three different options in the drop down, like 16:9 and 16:10 and then added custom resolution which in my case is 2560x1600. In-game visuals look “zoomed in” and streched.
Can someone help?
Can you look into that?
