I’m not saying it’s bad, actually it’s pretty good for modeling (when you get used to it that is :stuck_out_tongue: ) but, as I said before, it’s no match for commercial apps like Maya/3dsmax/XSI. It’s main advantage is that it’s free, that’s why we use it at my work :/.

New story.

I tried my hand at blender… given up after two minutes of swiveling the cube around.

Not historically accurate.

Those eyes creep me out.

U mean those “eyeless” faces creeps you out :stuck_out_tongue:

Uncanny valley, woah. Also, post 666, how ironic.

huh ?

Ha ha oh wow

Hey Ramirezoid, I was wondering if there is any tutorial or something to show basicaly how you transfer your sketches from paper to the end product here. I have some doodles that I think would look really cool if i could do something similar to what you do. I have photoshop but I’m not great at using it, I know the basics. Unfortunately they are on red paper because I was doodling on a binder diviser in math. :stuck_out_tongue: I hope that’s not a problem?

I assumed he drew them on paper and scanned the images using a scanner.
I could be wrong, though :zip:

My signature is my most recent. I’m currently working on some other Half-Life stuff I’ll throw up here once it’s finished.

I finish them.

My most recent “end product”, with the green bitch and the faggy socks, was done traditionally on regular old printer paper with a few pens and pencils.

Though I do often fancy up my doodles in photoshop, like here:

That’s not a texture, either, that’s the paper I used[/SIZE]

but that’s just setting a new layer to multiply so I can color in the lines. I’m pretty shitty at photoshop, and I’m not very content with this procedure.

If you’re using a weird color paper that for whatever reason, you do not want, just remove the color and jack up the brightness/levels until it looks the way you want it to.

A++

Thanks man! this is really helpful, I played around a bit, and here’s my result:

Ramirezoid, your sketches are awesome as ever.

You seriously need to consider a career in that shit. It’s incredible.
