Transport Design mate :slight_smile:
.

Ooops, I meant uni.
I simply decided to drop out of my local uni and go to the Isles to study Film and Photography.
What do you think of Leeds and Worcester?

Honestly? I didn’t really look at them, they’re not that big on the design/automotive courses. Coventry is one of the best for that. If I knew more about them, I’d say, but I honestly don’t :confused:
.

Okay.
Know anything about that ELQ bullshit?

Nope. If I didn’t need to apply/qualify for it, I know jack shit :stuck_out_tongue:

On topic, my first ever package drawing. FUCKING HELL THEY’RE A BITCH TO DO AND TAKE FUCKING AGES ARGH. ALSO IT’S A BIG IMAGE

EDIT: Yes, they’re taken with a camera in my garden, BECAUSE, YES, MY SCANNER ISN’T WORKING ATM :hmph:

I <3 my pen sketching, but my marker rendering needs practice :frowning:

;O

I gotta say, Siggs, I’d purchase that truck as a first car myself. Only problem is visiting grandparents way out in the back roads/hills would be a Problem in a vehicle that doesn’t appear to have much in the way of suspension.
Awesome concept (a small commuter truck) but it would be of very little use outside of major cities.

I was told to draw feet in prone it was the only requirement so I went a little crazy.

Looks nice and crazy… your work reminds me of my friend in school. we’re told to draw bottles or flowers or whatnot, and she goes off on a tangent and puts in rainbows, unicorns, ghosts, letters spelling out profanities. Our art teacher loved it :retard:

haha nice yeah my art teacher loves that I do weird shit like this. Every other kid had a simple sketch of there feet on a table I felt good turning that in. :slight_smile:

well our next prompt was “Peace” so I painted a mushroom cloud in great detail working around the hopes the teacher gets the Paradox of if you want peace you must prepare for war. I’ll post a scan of it once it drys.

edit:
here it is

Well, I’m happy to say that I’ve just found that I’m NOT an ELQ student.
FUCK YEAH GREEN LIGHTS.
Also, laughed my ass off:

When I’m first told by an art teacher to draw feet in prone, I’m just going to draw Reptar fighting Godzilla…and make up a bunch of baloney about integrity, and I’ll get away with it. Hitler went to art school, and he didn’t learn to be aggressive until he was kicked out.

I have an extreme dislike for being told to draw boring shit, but that does not stop me from doing it on my own time. While we are on the subject of such yawnsome topics of feet and peace, I give you this, as it is relevant to both, if you count “talons” and “contempt” as parallels to “feet” and “peace”;

Two renders made by me in blender…

Laboratory furniture:

Fume Cupboard:

I know they’re not perfect but hell, it’s blender ;P. I’ll export some models to 3dsmax and we’ll see the real 3D powah :wink:

Awesum! :}

:facepalm:

Needs moar pink :hmph:

Ramirezoid, your artwork is Awsesome!

Heh, everybody will defend his/her software but it makes sence only when they have similar possibilities. Blender is a free software, which is great, but it lacks many (and I mean MANY) things, especially built’in GI or a renderer that could handle it in a decent amount of time. And that’s only for still renders, what about animations?

Conclusion: Blender is ok for beginners, it coveres all basics (and more) but I’ll go with 3dsmax instead. It’s more powerful and I just know it better ;].

:facepalm::facepalm:
ever seen elephants dream or big buck bunny?

blender works fine in theory its just that the interface is a ton of hassle because every single open source developer has autism and cant understand how people work

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
