But I agree, burning the Qu’ran isn’t going to solve anything, it’s fucking disgusting to think that there are people this stupid that believe that it’s right to burn a Holy Book of another religion because a SMALL GROUP of people from it are terrorists, as has been said, it’s just going to provoke more violence, and he isn’t going to be held accountable for it, as he should be.

– Further information about Radical sects of religions: The American KKK (Ku Klux Klan) is one of many organizations that are similar to Al-Queda, but not the same. It’s an example that almost every religion has some element that goes over the edge in violence and such behavior.

Minus the fact that he claims that Israel is committing “genocide” against the Palestinians. What’s happening in Darfur is genocide. What’s going on over there is a holy war of sorts, and both sides of it are responsible.
Arabs are basically blaming us for oppressing the palestinians as they do almost nothing to help them.
Perhaps not genocide but nonetheless Palestinian deaths are extremely disproportionate to Israeli deaths (more Palestinian deaths than Israeli). And America won’t do shit about it because we support Israel. For example a long time ago Fox listed countries who have or are believed to have nuclear weapons, and Israel was conveniently left out.

I am just amazed that everyone in this forum is ready and willing to scream for the rights of the community center being build a few blocks from ground zero, yet this idiot exercising his freedom of speech by burning their holy book is inciting this much anger and hatred.
Don’t get me wrong, I am rather neutral on both subjects and I know there is a big difference in attitude between the two, but I am just wondering why the double standard regarding freedom of speech.

The NYC mosque is harmless and peaceful and the only people whining about it are rightest idiots who love to blow up unimportant issues to distract you from their ignorance on issues that actually are important (see gay marriage). Now the Quran burning, that’s a misguided act of hatred and it WILL encourage violence in the Middle East and may turn otherwise peaceful and non-extremist muslims into America haters.
Summarized; mosque will do nothing but insult a few rightest assholes, the Quran burning will cause riots and terrorist attacks. Freedom of speech should end when you use it to hurt, directly or indirectly, other people.
