Self-Built Computer (1ST)

I have completed what i think is a compatible and effcient setup for my budget (no more then £550), which can be found here:

https://www.mwave.com/mwave/Shoppingcart.asp?scriteria=AA67290&UpDepts=HDSATA&DName=Hard%20Drives%20-%20Serial%20ATA&Back=HDSATA-HITACHI&Bname=HITACHI%20%20IBM

I’ve never built a pc before, so im not too sure about if everything will work properly or if theres cheaper alternatives and all that. Please help before I buy it.

Not sure if it will run that well…
:stuck_out_tongue:

Seriously though you need an account to view.
Why don’t you copy pasta?

Shopping carts usually rely on cookies, so we can’t see it, copy pasta is the way to go :stuck_out_tongue:

Or just take a screen.

…so it’s an Italian PC then…?

I don’t think you should be building a PC with your level of intelligence, you can’t post links of anything on other sites, and if your link had worked I’m sure many of us would have purchased random things using your account. Be smart next time.

Also there’s nothing special about building a PC, i’ve done it ever since I had my first PC, I took it apart as soon as I could, even tho my first PC was a non-standard mini desktop with the screen built on top of the motherboard, I still figured everything out. I can’t imagine myself using an OEM built PC for anything other than selling it.

Accidental Post

WELL for starters i haven’t got an account, so no you couldn’t of bought stuff, and secondly, I wasn’t sure about the linking. And thirdly and lastly please don’t insult my intelligence =/. Heres a list of the parts:

You must be new to the internet buddy.

Please be constructive? and if 6 years gaming is new then yea =]

I think you paid way too much for your CPU, you could’ve bought a cheaper model and had better performance because they overclock better. And fast ram+powerful GPU is more important to gaming than CPU, especially when it comes to core2duo/quad.

ok i thought i went too overboard on the cpu xD, i’ll go to a mid-end dual core, and make sure the ram is fast. Almost forgot i have to get a monitor as well so im gonna have to try hard to keep this below £550. As well as telling me how i could improve my setup, if you know a website that delivers to the UK, AND you can give me a better setup for that price, please… please do so.

I hope you aren’t planning on building that from scratch, because you need more parts then that.

Check out if your motherboard is compatible with all those parts.

Lol this.

Is it going to run on hamsters or do you have some other ingenious replacement for the PSU?

Unless of course you’re planning on using the one bundled with the case, in which case, olololololo retard.

HOW would i know what watt psu i need to run the setup? How? if you read the tile of the thread you’d know its my 1st self-built computer… would 600w be enough?

and please people… give it up with the insults

As for the more parts then that, I would like to know what i need apart from the connectors

Lol@ You who expects to get help by being a cocky faggot when he obviously has absolutely no clue what he’s doing or buying and is probably not going to receive any help henceforth for being a twat.

I agree with Kaze on this. all anyone was trying to do was help, but you just patronized them after they gave help, and then you didn’t except their help anyway.

But who better to ask than all the know-it-alls round here…?

Because we have no problem withholding our information at will.

I don’t want my “help” thrown with insults? whats the point… tell me honestly… did you really need to call me a tard?

“I agree with Kaze on this. all anyone was trying to do was help, but you just patronized them after they gave help, and then you didn’t except their help anyway.”

help? if there are no insults given to me, then i accept it, which you will see if you read the bit about changing from quad core-dual core…
