Throw your C4 on TOP of the thumpers as they go up. It will get stuck at the top and won’t come back down. I threw one on top of the first thumper in each set and I was able to get by.

How do I get the magnum bullets hanging from that platform?

I never tried but I figure you could just shoot it off the conveyer and pick it up after?

Or you can jump across if you time it right

A very well-timed SprintJumpCrouch should get you to that hanging platform.

That said, QUICK-SAVE BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT IT. If you miss, and fall, you’ll either die, or have to hike all around the damn room to get back up there.

You can also sprint 45 degrees and land on it with good crouchjump timing.

I cant see the grate you’re supposed to go through on the ground of the compactor, there’s just a pile of broken boxes, i’ve tried hitting everywhere but there isnt even a noise change, cant see or hit it, i can’t be doing something wrong?! This just seems too easy to for me to get wrong

Edit: doesnt matter, i watched a video, FYI dont read walk throughs, as they didnt say anything about a lever and… derp.

There was a grate in Half-Life. It’s not in Black Mesa. Are you sure you’re reading the right walkthroughs?

Not really a help question but i’ll post it anyway
At the start of “Residue Processing” we are stripped of all our weapons
by the time i completed the level…ready to start “Questionable Ethics” i had recovered the following weapons:
Crowbar
Pistol
357 Magnum

Anyone find any other weapons in Residue Processing?
If so…a quick description of where found would be much appreciated

There were satchel charges in a room with a switch and a Bullsquid, once you’re done swimming through all that nasty crap.

hi!
I successfully pass the green waste bat now I block in the waste river.
I found the 2 energy pack after swim through 2 or 3 romms under water and now I really don’t know where to go …

please help ^^

To continue through Residue Processing, there are connecting tunnels through the rivers of whatsit. Try exploring the rivers.
