Raising the bar

I did…it’s called the LHC

A true fan would make a working HEV suit complete with a morphine administering device.

And you didn’t make the LHC, Piefish. Stop lying.

I did too, I am CERN

And I made a HEV Suit too…it’s called lycra

I read RtB back when ep1 came out and I got interested in half life again.

I am a Half Life fan because i wrote RtB

A real fan would go back in time and change the world so that Episode 3 and Black Mesa would be out already

I went forward in time and never came back.

i’m the man from the past, and this shit’s outta whack.

i thought this thread will become a “a true half life fan” thread
I am disappoint…

So I got me a copy of this and read it, and I’m just wondering:

What was “the hoard” supposed to be? On page 80 it talks about a cut creature called the sacktick (dur hur hur) and it says it was engineered by the same race that created the hoard, and bears hoard markings.

I have no idea. I have the pdf myself but I printed it out. Such a nice read.

There are a lot of things that aren’t mentioned in the book. It says somewhere there was a tonne of cut stuff and this was just some of it

This.

A real half-life fan would be playing HL through Episode 2 over and over again and not waste time visiting messageboards boasting about how much of a fan he is, especially not a board dedicated to an amateur project that wants to recreate (and potentially destroy) the HL legacy.

then again no

why the book called raising the bar.

the only raising was the handle when you accidentally the tracks after you intentionally the gargantua

raising the (crow)bar
and also half-life 1 and 2 are generally regarded as being very influential on the FPS genre, thus they “raised the bar” of first-person shooters.

get it? :freeman:

I bought my copy of the book back when it still only cost $25US. U jelly?

Also, it’s the greatest book ever like seriously.

Got it for free…so no

Got it for free… but yeah… best read EVER!

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
