On a limited income, there are plenty of games that interest me that I’ll play on the Wii that aren’t party games.
The oversaturation of shovelware is a problem though. I just don’t purchase those. We all know that Nintendo’s systems thrive on first party support anyways, and Nintendo generally comes through with the excellent titles. Makes owning a Nintendo system worth owning.

I had a DS. First run production model, second to last one in the store.
I sold it this year. I owned a grand total of nine games for it. Three of which I played for any serious stretch of time. But hey, The World Ends With You was awesome. It pushed the DS to it’s technical extremes and had good music. And having played many other games on the system, it’s really hard to get decent audio on the DS, unless you made Sonic Rush.
I’m sold, I’m gonna buy asap when it gets on the us market.
I’m going to wait a little while so the inevitable issues will get sorted out before I buy.
