And acctually (according to the wiki) PS3 Games take up about 33GB of the disk. Which (in my opinion) is 25GB to many for a HDD.

This is confirmed real by numerous legit mod stores/sites. There are also numerous videos up, specifically at ozmodchips.com. It is not simply just a USB stick, it is an encrypted USB dongle that is unreadable by a PC. It goes on sale to the public next week, so we’ll here much more info by then I’m sure. It only works on PS3 games and will not support PSOne or PS2 games. You can install games directly to an internal HDD or an external usb HDD. It basically turns your PS3 into dev mode allowing the backup manager app to run.

I’m guessing Sony is going to make this stop working just like they made Pandora stop working for the PSP.
Basically, it uses enough of their code that they can’t patch it out without shooting themselves in the foot, as far as console repair goes. I highly doubt they would completely disable USB ports.
pandora still works on 90% of the PSP’s out there though.

An update just came out (3.42) that supposedly stops this from working. Sony hasn’t released patch notes yet. Lazy bastards.
