Sadly for you Christians, a marriage in a church is -no- legal marriage. It’s not recognized as a legal union until you wed before the state (or law, or whatever you guys call it in English).
A marriage before God in a church, is nothing but an overly expensive show to make Christians feel good about themselves, knowing that they have the blessing from God.

No, you first have to turn into socialism.

And with Obama’s star slowly falling, he’ll be replaced by a Conservative Republican president for the next term, and you’re back to square one on that aspect.
All Obama needs to do is to start acting like a Democrat and not Republican Lite™ and he’ll bounce back to record highs in no time.
The Republicans need to stop being stubborn assholes and the Democrats need to stop being pussies. Until one (but preferably both) of those happens, we aren’t gonna get anywhere fast.
You need a good mixture. The freedom and secular sense of the democrats, with the mix of some common sense from the republicans. The democrats often seem to over simplify things. Particularly Obama, his speeches are just big words put together with promises of peace, no real meat to the ideas. The republicans are idiots.
Dust: His speeches might be grandiose and kind of vague, but his actions are speaking louder than any speech.

Do realize that without war, we’d be hundreds of years behind on technology. Wars cause massive technological revolutions (random example: GPS, mobile phones/radio, etc).
