PC MASTER RACE UNITE!

… or something like that.

There was a thread like this on the old forum, but I haven’t seen anyone remaking it, so I’ll just do it. Here’s mine.

CPU: Intel i5 3570K 3.40 GHz
GPU: Inno3D GeForce GTX 660 (Gonna buy a new GPU soon)
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1600 mHz

Taken with a shitty phone camera, sorry.

Here’s mine (EDIT: dead link). Desk is a mess, not posting pictures of it :stuck_out_tongue:
Cables are as tidy as I could get them; my PSU is large enough that it covers a hole in the motherboard backplate that could probably have been used to hide a few cables.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7 4770 @ 3.4GHz, cooled by Zalman CNPS9700LED
Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX770 OC 4GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16GB ( 2x8GB ) DDR3-1866 @ 9-10-9-27
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3
Case: Cooler Master CM690
PSU: Cooler Master Real Power Pro 850W
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Monitor: Samsung S23A700D, 23" 1920x1080 @ 120Hz
Speakers: Logitech X-530 5.1 Speaker System
Keyboard: Logitech Wave (wired)
Mouse: Logitech MX 400 Performance Laser Mouse

Next upgrade: hopefully a SSD, maybe some more case fans

I know the pics don’t match but hey;

^ I’ve since cable managed it again, nothing visible  Also I dropped the DVD drive, nice and minimal on the front now!

Some pretty average specs;

  • W8 64bit
  • PhenomII x6 1100T Black Edition (OC’d 3.8GHz)
  • Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 (rev.2) CPU cooler
  • 1Gb HD5850 ‘Toxic’ edition (OC’d 900MHz/1250Mhz)
  • 4x2 Gb 1066MHz DDR2 (8Gb total)
  • 750Gb maindrive
  • 1Tb media drive
  • 1Tb gaming drive
  • 550W Corsair PSU
  • Razer Nostromo / Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition / Coolermaster Sentinel Zero-G

I like to think it holds up pretty damn well performance wise, considering the 4 year old mobo and the budget upgrades.
p.s. The colour coding started off accidental with just the mobo and fans… but I ran with it C:

Pic is from last year but I assure you it still looks pretty much exactly like this.

Infact the desk seems a bit out of place with the rest of the decor

Ehem, it’s a chiffonjé.
The color of it doesn’t appear that bright with normal lightning. It really reflect that flash, thought.

Cool.

It’s also a bureau
