Isn’t it strange that there was a robot that just happened to be there? And the fact that he thanks you for assuming the party escort submission position just makes it seem like this was planned.
Yeah. I’ve felt that GLaDOS’s destruction was part of her plan for a while, and this seems to reinforce that idea.
Also she tells you to assume the position, the robot thanks you for doing so, either GLaDOS had some kind of link with it (as in internet or something, or maybe the robot is a backup of her), or they were both programmed with the same quirks which isn’t as likely.
Or perhaps the robot was told to get Chell after she survived the fire pit and was told to assume the “party escort submission position”, but when it got there Chell was gone, and it just continued looking for her until it found her outside the facility.
But that is probably too boring to be the case.
Go to the bottom right picture… looks kinda like the anomalous materials train station. Go up two pictures, and there’s one of them walking robots that used to move crates around in Black Mesa.
I have no idea where I’m going with this theory

Maybe episode 3 and portal 2 will be 2 games taking place at the same time, but just from the other character’s perspective? We’d get to see gordon though, unless they made sure he wasn’t ever nearby.
He did say he’d be talking about future Valve projects so it would be a bit weird if he didn’t even mention them.

Considering the sudden Valve-Mac hype, it wouldn’t surprise me that the “future Valve projects” he’d talk about, had nothing to do with EP3, but everything with Steam for Mac.
Hope all this fuss is about episode 3, personally i don’t think portal 2 is this special!
Maybe it’s for the White Box: Half-Life 2: Episode 3, Portal 2, Black Mesa, and Team Fortress 2 with the Engineer update. All exclusive for Macs!
