Portal to Black Mesa (Half-Life Fan Film)

Hey guys,

I’m part of a project that is filming a parody/fan film for the Half-Life series. I figured you might like to see a glimpse with a few pictures of our progress. As a fan of Half-Life and related games there wasn’t very many live-action parodies (if any), especially centering around the first Half-Life game. Expect a teaser trailer out in the next two weeks with our full film out sometime in late April or early May.

[UPDATE: The trailer is now out. Please click below.]

I’m curious how will this turn out.

Why is Gordon chubby all of a sudden?

I know it’s snobby of me to say this, since you guys (obviously) aren’t professionals. But i really like good acting in my fan films. I find it hard to watch fan films when the guys who are acting in them are throwing out ridiculous faces and flat dialog.

It looks like you’re aiming for comedy from the screenshots and what not, though, so it probably won’t bother me half as much.

Good luck guys, hope it turns out good!

obvsly

Gordon looks like he’s holding his breath, lol.

So is it going to be funny?

That’s the hope…lol.

Gman in his twenties?

they couldn’t invest in some red and gray spray paint for the crowbar?

Oh man, i just noticed that it’s a plane ass crowbar.

How unappealing.

Spray paint that shit.

Gordon obviously ate all the donuts

The ties are not ridiculous enough

Fail!

Needs moar red stripes! And red crowbar! And some makeup, liquid lstex/rubber cement and hair dye/spray for G-man. Can’t have him lookin’ all young with minimal facial complexion…

Also, I’m sure this should be in “Show off.”

Hey guys,

Just wanted to tell you that the trailer to “Portal to Black Mesa” is now up. I’ve started a new thread for the new trailer

Well… looks interesting, really. It is really good to see people doing stuff like this.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
