You should have seen his photo, he is older than you. :retard:
Really? Haha, alright…But mentally younger
he’s not that fat
Wrong. It’s gonna be a full price title.
^^^ This. Many people have been saying that EP3 and Portal 2 will be in one box like The Orange Box. That would only happen after 1 or 2 years after the actual release since, as DiePoente said, Portal 2 is a full price title.
Yeah, many people didn’t read the GameInformer article.
Also many people didn’t understand that Portal was only packaged with The Orange Box because it was a risky concept and Valve decided to cut risks by including it in a bundle with other much more well known and profitable titles.
Then crab… person, or whatever, it just sounds better as people.
Depends on what they want in the game.
I personally want to see a push towards Image-based rendering and Large open areas. After all you have 200 hypothetical miles to trek to get to the Borealis, its going to look weird if you achieve that in 2-3 hours + Combat and Stop-offs (Especially the case if something happens to the helicopter)
Hammer is great for small to medium-sized maps, but when you approach large open-area maps you need a more flexible tool for generating lush/varied environment. The displacement tool is great for small maps, but constantly sewing several brushes (Not to mention you have to hit certain criteria for this to be successful) together can become tedious.
Some form of Heightmap tool can replace Hammer for Large maps, whilst Hammer can be relegated for creating assets and structures to fit into that map. Perhaps this would allow for better texture/asset/road placement too, like the CryEngine Editor
The AI could be improved too. I fully expect combine soldiers to be able to scale fences and kick doors in (like the original 2003 demo)

Valve E3 event “completely cancelled”
https://www.vg247.com/2010/06/11/valve-e3-event-completely-cancelled/
Completely
Wrong. Only monday’s press event
The suprise is that this E3 is the last year they’ll be attending.
What the hell, I’m getting mixed signals from my bros and hoes :fffuuu:
By “cancelled completely” they meant simply “moved to the E3 floor”
Nothing was actually canceled
Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said “goodbye.”
And you were like “NO WAI.”
And then I was all “we pretended we were going to murder you.”
That was great.
You always know what to say
Is the Portal team the same as the Half-Life team? I’m not sure, but I really don’t think so. Key Valve members are behind it but that doesn’t mean that nothing is being developed by the Half-Life team.
No. 8 people founded the concept of Portal. Valve hired them. And “only” them worked on it. Now, 28 people work on P2. So, many Valve employees help them.
P2 features co-op right? Can the Ai be that smart to be a good partner or no ai… just person. If wrong grammar… please forgive.
No AI. You’ll play with a real player
