My point, I said that they were more accessible for people who weren’t bright enough to properly use a different OS, not saying you are one of them.
What right do you have to decide what makes a “good” game?
Good luck with that bro.
It’s been working out just fine so far ^^
And if you wanted to do something different later?
Like what?
Well it’s not hard to develop a set of standards a game has to live up to. What I think he is mentioning is that the standards of what qualifies as a GREAT game on some consoles, wouldn’t really be considered GREAT on the PC.
So you’re saying there needs to be more whiny bitchy console gamers?
Just because I don’t hate every game that comes out does not mean I have low standards… I just don’t like to bitch at something if I’m having fun with it.
Also, keep in mind that every gamer, either console or PC, has different taste (ie, there are plenty of console gamers that hate Halo, whereas there are also a decent amount of PC gamers that liked Halo 1), so making generalizations like “console gamers don’t know what makes a great game” is irrelevant, because you can say the same thing about PC gamers (just look at how many people think Crysis is a great game!)
Nope. That is not what I said.
:hmph:
:hmph:
It is a great game…
Read.
It.
See where I’m getting at? LOOK[/SIZE] at this poor soul!
You’re a poor soul if you haven’t experienced the awesomeness of Crysis :freeman:
I played the demo, but I don’t think I experienced any awesomeness. :freeman:
I finished both on very high at 60fps 1920x1200 and they suck.
Crysis still has some of the best graphics to date even being over a couple of years old.
But I usually hate sandbox games and Crysis is no exception. I was dazzled by the graphics but when it was all said and done I really didn’t want to revisit it.
If you mean Crysis please tell me what graphics card do you have because not much hardware can achieve those frame rates.
You must have a 3 way gpu configuration with top of the line gpus.
I never understood why people spend so much on overpower cards when they will be obsolete long before they need replaced.
It’s games like Crysis that makes me give less and less of a shit about graphics. If a great game looks good, then great. If it looks like shit but plays well, then that’s good too.
That’s why I yawn whenever someone gloats about how much better their system’s graphics are.
