Because I actually have non-console hatin but PC supportive opinion about the whole debacle that could be interesting to read because I’m great at coming up with opinions that everyone agrees with and makes the whole point of the thread redundant to begin with.

Nowadays consoles are just trying to be PCs anyway.

PCs will always be superior.

PCs = hella lotta customization, mods, etc.
and mouse/keyboard

trumps controller and console any day

  • Pee Cees [can] have better graphics, different resolutions, you know. all that good stuff.

Alright you want a reason? I’ll give you more reasons than you can handle!

  1. better graphics
  2. mods (BMS FTW)
  3. better controls
  4. cheaper, yes that’s right. Console hardware may be cheaper than a high end PC but console games are 40% more expensive than PC games. I can get AAA titles for about 33EUR on PC but the same game on PS3 or Xbox360 costs me 60EUR

That’s a moot point. PC hardware probably breaks as much as consoles’ but the difference is when a console breaks, you may need to replace the whole unit, while with a PC you can just replace a single component.

360’s don’t actually break down very often anymore, not sure about PS3s. You can’t expect any new model to be perfect anyway. Also, can yuo tell my why you made this thread? No one listens to arguments, both are good, pcs get mods and you don’t need a mic to speak, consoles you get better controls, games are optimised and you don’t need a good pc to run alot of games(my pc is quite shoddy :frowning: .)

Anyway, now that I thought a bit about the anlge I’m taking with my opinion, I don’t think this was the right thread to create.

When I get home I’ll make a new thread talking about what I think about the current state of the videogame industry without going into the whole “which platform is better?” debacle.
