This waf full of charm! i loved it
I didnt say it sucked… did I?
Seriously… It’s titled “Outside Aperture”… Make you think something different than what it is…
It’s good. I’ll give it that… but it’s also boring.
^ I don’t care what person above said.
Watched it few day ago before this thread even start, it is awesome.
It seems to me as though she could use some company… I volunteer!
:fffuuu:
Aw yeah. AW YEAH. AW YEAAAAHHHHHHH!!!
B)
It was actually a really good fan made video, when comparing it to others that i’ve seen.
One thing that did bother me though was the fact that she was able to use the portal gun outside of the lab. Unless all the walls, and the rugs were coated in moon dust, it would’ve been impossible to create a portal outside of Aperture Science. (although if she didn’t use the portal gun at all, the video probably wouldn’t have been very interesting)
So, paranoid Chell baked a cake. That’s it? Or did I miss something?
That’s it. Like bobbo already pointed out, it’s kinda boring. Awesome production work, very well executed too, but boring.
I don’t think the moondust thing should be taken literally, moondust provides the best conditions for portal surfaces. I’ve a hard time believing they have been coating all the maintenance floors and “behind the scenes” places in Portal 1 or the old facilities in Portal 2… I wouldn’t see the point of applying such expensive material everywhere besides the test labs.
I think there are portal-able surfaces and non-portal-able surfaces (concrete, metal, respectively, for example). Moondust, however, converts non-portal-able surfaces to portal-able surfaces (hence the name “conversion gel”).
As popsUlfr said, why would they paint maintenance shafts with the stuff?
As for those complaining that it’s boring, not everything is Roland Emmerich and Michael Bay (thankfully). Portal, itself, is very slow a lot of the time.
Chell was promised a cake and, dammit, she’s gonna get one!
… I saw who that potato work was by I was like :fffuuu: then like :’( and then > and finally :jizz: with Valve’s deviousness!! Damn I love their games!
Well, I guess that settles the whole BYDTWD thing.
A triple post showing off how hot Chell looks in P2? …Nothing wrong here move along sir.
This was also pretty good.
