It really was!
If was everything else then a Star Fox game!
Die Hard Arcade for the PS3 :jizz: .
Deus Ex.
God that game kicked so much ass.
Well, looks like someone has to step forward and start a Deus Ex project then.
I look forward to sneaking up to pidgeons and crowbaring them with the Deus Ex crowbar. Wonder what game featured a crowbar for the very first time…
Maybe it was Life - The Biggest MMO in the World. … :awesome:
Quake and Doom, and maybe Wolfenstein 3D
Populous: The Beginning. As long as it’s redone to a modern approach, and not affecting the original in anyway.
Maybe my question is relevant, because it adressed the Aristotelian concept of so called “Imitation of reality of life”. Maybe I wondered when people actually started recreating crowbars as weapons in their works of art. But no the real life stuff sounds better.
Speaking of “The Matrix”: a good Matrix game has yet to be released. Enter the Matrix was so full of sh**. Except the part with the console, that was a real inspiration. So How about:
A real in-game minigame/beginners tutorial to firewall weaknesses and remote access hacks.
“Hack virtual computers and train for real life.” :jizz: Endless potential.
Legal Crime
Imperium Galactica 2
System Shock 1/2
Thief 1/2
Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine
Age of Empires II
Just so long as it has the same interface. I can’t fucking stand III’s UI.
Agreed. AoE2 was amazing and I was psyched when I heard they were making a third one. Then when it came out I played it for about five minutes and I couldn’t stand it. The only changes I’d want in a remake would be updated graphics, and then maybe more civilizations, techs, and ages to advance to. Also the ability to zoom out would be nice.
AoE2, but keep it 2D. Just up the resolution considerably and add zoom. I wouldn’t really condone new ages, but some new civs and techs would be kinda nice… Although I didn’t really like the conquerors expansion.
Oh, I just remembered: Radiant Silvergun.

Treasure, the company that made it, keeps talking about remaking it, but there are difficulties. The way the Sega Saturn rendered 3D objects is pretty different from the way things are usually done (all polygons were squares, not triangles). They are also busy with other things.

So yeah, I want this to be remade because I’ve never played it. It was never released outside of Japan, and copies are exceedingly rare and valuable. Plus no one has a Sega Saturn.
BE ATTITUDE FOR GAINS…[/SIZE]
Crash Bandicoot (the Original) and Abe Oddworld.
Strategy is one of those genres I always thought was better in 2D. Games like Starcraft and AOE2 actually LOOKED pretty good, even when compared with modern games. If they did some company-internal super-high-res models, and just rendered them for the top-down perspective, it would look awesome.
