So, while I was going through some old stuff I found a CD of LucasArts “Outlaws”.

This is definitely one of the games I would like to see redone similarily to Project BM.

The HUD was cool, the Clint Eastwood like fights were phenomenal and the story was epic. I wonder why there are almost no good Wild West FPS games. Most FPS revolve around sci-fi settings, which is neat. But the Wild West genre is like the grandfather of FPS games. It is probably just my love for Colts…
In fact I would volunteer for a team making such a project.

So, as I think/feel that this project is slowly coming to an end: any games you would like to se redone?

I’d like to see Metal Gear Solid remade in MGS4 graphics and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask remade in HD. Too bad they’re both console games and there might not be any plans for both games to be remade ;(

^^ Scrap Majora’s mask, I want to see Oracle of Ages/ Seasons redone in glorious 3D and not from birds eye view. :slight_smile:

My brother playing PS and me PC, I remember my brother playing MGS for like a year. Once in a while he would totally freak out about some “Ninja” guy :smiley:

Of course Ocarina of Time and Metal Gear Solid. But the most important one is Final Fantasy VII. Awesome game, but the graphics are … :meh: Half-Life would be a good idea, too. :wink:

No. They’ll just add even more dumb Matrix moved to the cutscenes.

A Metal Gear 1 and 2 remake, similar to Bionic Commando: Rearmed, would be much more preferable.

Doom, but with the same centered HUD and one-leg-shorter-than-the-other head bobbing.

Halo on the new Reach engine.

Are there not already 5 version of GA, excluding MS-DOS ports etc.?
Besides I do not think the sidescroll genre has a future…
(Thinks about Mushihimesama Futuri), maybe I am wrong…

Sidescrollers make a pretty decent amount of money on Xbox LIVE and merchandise from Flash sites. Look at Castle Crashers and Madness Combat.

What could you possibly do with a Halo 1 remake?
It would be like Serious Sam HD. Sure, it looks prettier, but otherwise would be the same game!
Just be glad Bungie is adding huge additions to Reach (my favorite one being the open world sandbox) while still maintaining the Halo feel.

Games that I would consider in need of a remake are older hard to find games, or games like Final Fantasy VII that look REALLY outdated (99% of the game looks pre-rendered), or in need of a control overhaul (Hitman: Codename 47), or to make them not suck as much (I want a next-gen Bionic Commando game that doesn’t fail!) Not a decent looking 3D game that you can download on XBox Live or get at Wal Mart for $20 (the PC version at least.)

I would probably have to say, Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.
I really liked their art direction, and all those weapons it had would just be awesome. :slight_smile:
