I’m kinda suprised no one has mentiont the awesomeness that is Tie Fighter and Freespace 1-2. I would love to see those games remade simply so I could install and actually play the damn things on my win7 comp. Graphics be dammed those were awesome friggin games. An HD makeover would just be sex.
I would love to see Jet Force Gemini remade. It was awesome as it was but it deserves a proper remake, if for no other reason than to not have to use the freakin N64 controller.
Also I think it might have been mentioned but a true Star Fox remake/sequel. Star Fox and Star Fox 64 were incredible. They need to go back to the original formula.

HL1 is at the first place for me. Next are SystemShock1 and DeusEx1.
I’d like to play SystemShock1 at Unreal3 engine too. I can imagine a lot of improvements - for example to the weapon ammo upgrades and their effects… and of course more dirty cyber-punk atmosphere yay yay… Edit: considering this I am really amazed how developers handled FX’s in BMS. Gluon Canon is spectacular (even final version maybe will looks differently) and green teleportation beams can’t look better.
Mostly already said, but Soldier of Fortune, Deus Ex, and probably Dungeon Keeper.
There are a bunch of great games that I would buy in a heartbeat if they were remade. For some reason I couldn’t stop thinking of Goldsource games though.

I would like to see IntrPlay’s Redneck Rampage 1 and 2 redone with either Source, unreal 3, or the iD Tech 4 Engine(Quake 4). ahhhhh, the memories. also would like to see The Journeyman Project redone. Someone was working a Source-based remake of Journeyman, called the Journeyman Chronicles, but last i heard there was some legal issues.
