Operation Black Mesa hits Greenlight!

I smell troll. Somewhere…

Wow just went though this thread, I do say it was entertaining.

OBM is on the first place on Moddb’s Best Upcoming Mod of 2013 Players Choice.

Nice, congrats to Tripwire studios

I’ve actually been thinking. Could BM’s Steamworks integration mean that Tripwire could actually use BM as a base for their mods? That would be kind of awesome.

Tripmine.

It means we could, but are not going to.

Oh, cool.

We’ll see what happens after the mod is released.

No offence, but you don’t sound like you’re excited about this, aren’t you? :expressionless:

It’s interesting and impressive, but nothing to really be totally hyped for, IMO.

Congrats to Tripmine Studios.

I’m glad people like it, but I’ll be excited when we get the first place after we release the mod.

Isn’t this still like 2 years if not more from release?

This is still like a certain period of time from release. Hurr.

OBM time…

Well, I just hope we will get a “demo release” similar to Black Mesa 2012 build, perhaps not as long, but the bigger chunk of the game would be nice, once it’s all playable, textured etc. of course lol.

Let’s see, if Valve doesn’t want to monetize this baby.

Maybe once it’s further in development, but it doesn’t seem like they think any highly of the expansions.

necropost, but I hoped to get a response from a tripmine dev maybe

Is tripmine considering shifting development to be a BM modification once it hits Steam as a commercial game?
sorry if it’s been asked before

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
