Has anyone played Max Payne 3? If so, would you recommend it? It’s 70% off on steam atm.
It’s great. One of the best tps I’ve ever played. Its story is kind of eh compared to the other games but it plays fucking fantastically.
Max Payne 3 is a big cutscene where they put some really nice gameplay sequences on it.
Yeah the constant cutscene interruptions are annoying but I replayed MP2 after 3 and honestly it’s the same way. It’s just generally more difficult to skip the cutscenes in MP3, though it’s gotten better since launch.
Max Payne 3 was fucking awful. The shootdodge and the cover mechanics don’t synergize like they should, the story was pretty predictable, and half the cutscenes funnel you into bad cover so you die almost immediately upon loading. Be glad you didn’t get it full price. :fffuuu:
If you used the cover mechanic with any kind of frequency you played the game wrong. I never experienced the starting cover after cutscenes causing any issues, maybe they did if you actually stayed in cover and didn’t get out of cover to go shoot shit.
