Need help, can't decide for myself.

And pretty much every game with a health bar and inventory.

Are you fucking serious

Oh, and don’t forget games in which you can pick up weapons from corpses which would count as looting and probaly over 90% of all games allow you to do that. So in Dotards eyes, everything is a Bioshock copy.

Bioshock set the standards for later games in the genre… I find lots of similarities in between the two, never said they were exactly the same, don’t take clone literary, most dungeon crawlers/action rpg are called “Diablo clones” even if they have butterflies and unicorns. I don’t see why do we have to argue about my opinion.

Bioshock didn’t set standards for shit. It MET a standard.

It was a decent spiritual successor to the System Shock franchise, which DID set standards.

We always argue about your opinions because they’re fucking stupid.

This is literally akin to calling any FPS with ADS a CoD clone.

I am consistently amazed at how some people can be so bereft of logic.

You should stay away from the Gearbox forums, then. The place is full of people just as mindshatteringly dull.

Unfortunately I know that all too well [color=’#151515’]xalener…at a desk[COLOR=‘Black’].

Every once and a while I go back for new info on A:CM and all I see is “THIS GAME HAS A HUD THEREFORE COD CLONE”

“RED DOTS ON MOTION TRACKER THIS GAME IS FOR CASUALS”

Fucking man-children is what they are.

And then when GBX doesn’t directly respond to their post they are like “I’M NOT BUYING THIS POS WITH NO SUPPORT”

Yes, because when gearbox doesn’t reply to your stupid post, that means they are evil and doing everything they can to ruin your life.

Fuck every single one of those people.

Tonks is cool.

Bioshock is commonly described (if somewhat inaccurately) as steampunk, so there’s that at least.

I remember someone told me that Metro Last Light was going to be casualized because it has those holographic sights.

But it’s fucking art deco

I really hate some shit right now.

Didn’t like Dishonored, but bought Far Cry 3.
It’s not awesome at all… IT’S FU**ING DAMN AWESOME!!! Not only it plays well, it also looks damn great even on lower settings and the performance is unbelievable, one of the most well optimized PC games, if not the best.

I am bit late on the thread but I have few thing that may helps in the future when you want to buy game.

First, you have to know what you actually want. Personally, I often go with game that have multiplayer and unlockables for more replayability

Second, what type of game is your favorites. I go with game that have sandbox style area like Fallout New Vegas or GTA

Third, what kind of theme you like. For me, I can pretty much accept all sort of theme, medieval, fantasy and modern

Yeah, I got to say I was seriously impressed. Got it as a Christmas present cause I didn’t want to buy it after the far cry 2 debacle, so glad I got it though, it is tons of fun and has so many memorable, random moments.

I can also recommend Batman City and Deus Ex in that list, both are lots of fun. It is my steadfast opinion that it should be mandatory for every game in the world, from this point forward to have a remote control Battarang put into it.

The only bad thing so far about FC3 is when there’s no checkpoint and after 30 minutes of playing a hunter and the hunted (tried to skin a damn cat but crocodiles ate me) the progress is lost ._.

Does it have quicksave, at least?

Games without quicksave are the bane of my existence.

I’m almost positive you can. It has mission checkpoints and safe houses too.
