MW3 vs BF3

I’m sorry but war, war never changes.

What is it good for?

Animals never had a war, who’s the real animal?

Mostly because we call them territorial conflicts, not war.

I remember a 6 year old kid ran inside of me me to get away from a lunatic with a machete. The guy was yelling something about his daughter. The kid hasn’t been inside of me for ages. I miss him.

Games can never be even 10% realistic, reason:

  • If you die, thats it
  • People have different ways to shoot/move/reload/jump/take cover/etc, so even one soldier can have thousands of “Animations” for that soldier alone
  • Graphics are much better
  • You can pee/eat/pick your nose/strip/dance/sleep in any time in a war

And a whole lot more

They’re both the same fucking war game.

Wrong. Get out, pony girl.

I prefer Battlefield 3 for its teamwork and large scale mayhem. Call of Duty can use strategy and teamwork, but ultimately it’s just a bunch of people running around a map, hopelessly looking for someone to kill.

Funny, because that is exactly what it is. If you look into any history book on just about any war you’l also find a lot of what you think it has solely become too. Ethnicity? Ideology? Nations? These things don’t come up? Are you kidding?

I’l guess that you play Metal Gear Solid, and thus are indoctrinated into Kojimas warped hollywood view of the world, and war.

War truely never changes in its most basic principles.

I c wut u did thar.

I don’t hate CoD, it’s just that it’s fanbase has caught fire on to me and annoys me, for some reason CoD fans think that they are a part of some sort of elite race and no game is better.

True that.

Thank you.

no.

Also, I shouldn’t have made this topic, now I realize it’s just another PC v.s. Mac debate. Even though one is more dedicated and better there are those who will still get the more expensive fancy looking one. I apologize.

Gonna get both, but i am most excited about Battlefield 3.

Diablo II hardcore called.

I personally wouldn’t have a problem with CoD if it wasn’t for all the BS they spew at you on top of the Core game. I liked CoD 1, it’s expansions, and 2 for the Core game (though TBH, CoD 2 MP was really a rehash of CoD 1). The core game as it is now of the current gen CoDs, is being eaten away by the community and the “rewards” for playing the game.

Basically, the only “reward” i care about is playing the game itself. When just playing the game, SP or MP, feels like a reward, you know you’ve done a game right. It can have some of the extra bullshit, but it should be a compliment to the game, not the reason for playing.

IMO why a lot of older multiplayer FPS games are more satisfying.

There are a lot of multiplayer game modes that if you die that’s it. Like Team Sneak in MGO. That was an amazing mode when people weren’t exploiting that Gog-awful auto-aim mechanic to find the other team.

Well i think he means in the sense that once you die, you are dead. Those wouldn’t count as when you are in a new round/map you are alive again.

I mention Diablo 2 because when you are playing hardcore, if your character dies, they are done for good. All items, weapons, skills, progression is gone since it is all tied to the character, so in a sense that’s much closer to dying in a game then something like say MGO, or CSS.

Why the fuck do you even care? Play games to have fun. It shouldn’t matter to you what games other people play.

Sounds like Halo elitists to me. Though they’re pretty much the same crowd.

You know, there should be a poll about this.*

Battlefield 3 will most likely host a much more valuable and exiting gameplay then Modern Warfare 3.

Sadly enough. . .MW3 will sell millions of copies regardless…

:frowning:

How is that sad?

It’s just… a game selling.
