For everyone who keeps proclaiming that they want / it will be released on the 19th of this month:

The reason it won’t be released on the 19th is that if they finish the mod earlier than the 19th, then they certainly wouldn’t delay releasing it just for the sake of releasing it on the 19th.
If they aren’t quite done with it at the 19th, they won’t quickly package it up and release it sooner than needed either.

The only way it would be released on the 19th would be by just happenstance that they finish everything on that day.

Yup. 2009 has always just been a prediction by the dev team. It’s not something they just decided to do. “hey lets have some fun and release it this year no matter what”. it doesn’t work that way. They have looked at the workload ahead and figured out they could deliver it this year. That’s all. That doesn’t mean they wont delay it more if they have to.

The BM dev team has repeated that it will be out in '09 and that’s good enough for me. They probably wouldn’t reiterate it if it weren’t true. If we continue this guessing game, Ram will chime in like he always does and plant seeds of doubt just to screw with us, as is his hobby.
I am perfectly content to sit in public places, rocking back and forth, chanting “Twomonthstwomonthstwomonthstwomonths” in a monotone voice.

Their probably not allowed to release it until sometime after Left 4 Dead 2 is released. So I wouldn’t expect it until sometime in December which is a no brainier anyhow since it’s the last month of 2009.
