COLOR='Black’Also I beg to differ.
I believed this as well until about the 20th hour and i had the best armor, best weapons, couldn’t be killed and there was nothing left to do or explore, then I quit and havn’t looked back.
Although today Minecraft is also boring, waiting for 1.8.
Well, I haven’t got to that point yet, so it’s still fun for me. But really, they’re totally different games. One is a building simulator, where you can’t really do much else besides build and crafting. The other is more of an adventure game with Minecraft elements, that has proper progression and more of a sense of purpose. Plus Minecraft doesn’t have jetpacks or laser guns or giant flying eyeballs of death.
Indeed, this is truly what Minecraft needs. Just wait and see what the 1.8 update brings, I agree Terraria feels more progressive and has more of a point though.

Also redstone has endless possibilities for messing with MML, just ask FireTime. :fffuuu:
I like it for the mining and crafting. That was why I bought MINE-CRAFT.
And I don’t use texture packs. I like the original textures just fine.
I have been playing on the Serious Sam forums server for a month or tow and loving every minute of it. I have a lava palace (a glass palace with lava filled walls), an underground farm, a cliff face that I am hallowing out the inside of, and extensive mines connecting all of it.
and that is just online. Offline I have a huge castle system with catacombs, barracks, throne room, churches (christian and satanic), towers, all sorts of stuff taking up miles in all directions.
I really do love the game like no other I have ever played. Adding adventuring to it might make it better, but right now I love it just the way it is, and don’t really need anything else but inspiration to build more and more
If you take a break, it really does get fun again. At least, it did for me. I didn’t play it for around 2 months, and I went back and have been playing for around 5-6 hours a day.
Also, some worlds that are generated just seem more fun. Some generated places are just boring because there’s NOTHING there. That’s all part of it, as well.
My hint, put in the seed
Kebbsta
If you want to see an awesome world. You should spawn on an island, swim across the water towards the land and you will see some insane cliffs and structures, one of the best seeds I’ve ever been on.
I just messed around in that seed for 5 minutes. I saw a floating tree and a floating cactus.
Usually I type random shit in the seed generator.
Latley I’ve been getting some cool shit.
Try The Far Lands
If you’re gonna post a seed, post the world name too. It determines the spawn point.
Name: Kebbsta
Seed: Kebbsta
Lol
you rang
32 byte HDD in MC [/SIZE]
Also terraria is lots of fun but I have “beaten” the game like 4 times now. The last time I just about one shot it. From nothing to killing all of the bosses at the same time in one play. My one problem with the game was it was too fast (progression wise, not actual movement) but it seems they have slowed down the game some with the newer updates. I may come back to it once they change more things. Only reason I’m still on MC is because of redstone. If it wasn’t for that I wouldn’t be playing still, would most likely be doing something to further the human race or some bullshit like that.
I’ve been playing Minecraft for a couple weeks and it’s pretty cool when you get an idea and decide to try to make it. Today I decided to build a portal. When I came back from the Nether I was halfway across the map because there was some random portal built in an explored but unmined cave system for no apparent reason, but was evidently too close to my portal. Took a really long time to get home cause I got lost, and then cause I’m an idiot I did it again. Pretty fun game though. Thinking of building something like Orthanc out of obsidian. Or at least the base, cause obsidian is a pain to make…
Sometimes if you dig underground you can find underground water and lava springs next to each other. If you do, check the floor under the water, because chances are the entire floor is probably obsidian.
Minecraft = Lego’s for socially confused and/or depressed teenagers
Minecraft = Awesome actually
lol.
You try so hard to seem like a true hardcore PC master race type it makes you look retarded.
Especially with that avatar. And his sig is bad.
