Minecraft is a wonderfully in depth java browser game. It’s a first person-puzzle-shooter-rpg-ctf game. You can build and farm and craft and… Well, lots of things. It has multiplayer. You can play singleplayer-sandbox thing and singleplayer survival.

There is a “Indev” version you must prepurchase for a lot less- when it’s finished, it’ll cost 20 euros. It’s waaay more indepth than the others. Features day night cycles, and all kinds of more enemies and challenges- and I’m just going from what I’ve seen!

Yeah. Multiplayer creative mode is loads of fun. I was on a server making a suburb. I hit water in the basement of the one, though, and it flooded. :frowning:

I can’t wait to waste time with this on school computers tomorrow. :stuck_out_tongue:

Just doing a total overhaul on reviving this thread; I have a Minecraft server and I’ve been playing this game a lot longer than this thread has been around. Shame it got buried.

I just faced my first ghast; first impression, God damn this thing’s huge! I laughed when the stupid thing set itself on fire getting too close to the lava but went “Oh shit!” when it extinguished itself and then proceeded to shoot creeperballs at me.
I just killed a ghast with 23 Arrows.
EDIT Slipgates kill friendly mobs.

Does the new update invalidate your old saves? I’ve been playing on the free play version from a month or two ago, and I really like my world.
