I said Minecraft looked like it wouldn’t be any fun. People said that if I actually tried it I’d have tons of fun. So after playing it and getting bored, I found it necessary to announce that I didn’t like it.
Its one of those games that you have to actually play to know if you like it. I thought it was kinda dumb at first. Then I pirated it and it grew on me. Then I promptly bought it. If you can I’d suggest giving it more time and definitely if you haven’t already give multiplayer a shot.
^^ Exactly what I did, but I loved it from the start. Garth you shouldn’t quit on it so fast, try building a house, castle, whatever you want. I play with 4 friends on multiplayer all the time, and if you were to buy it you could play with us, we do some pretty huge projects.
Single player gets boring really fast once you get used to the newest features. It’s a game you need to play with friends, and to play with friends you have to have them first. That’s a toughy for some people. I think if you can’t play with your close friends, play on a server. Lots of good ones out there. I play one one with the Planes + Cars mods installed. 
I’m really stingy with my purchases and I can’t try the multiplayer out until I buy it, so I think this one’s a no go.
Should have got it when it was in alpha or before. Cheaper back then.
I"m even really careful with a 10 dollar purchase.

I made a video of my only major construction project. Its nowhere near as impressive as the guy who built a fully working 16 bit computer or the guys who build fully detailed replicas of real world monuments, but its the best I can do with a short attention span and my small amounts of free time.
Quite nice, by the way, have you ever looked into getting a texture pack?
Well it depends on your computer, one of my favorites is LB Photoreal, it has an x64, x128, and x264 version. They all look amazing, much better than Misa’s, which is saying a lot.
I usually use Glimmar’s Steampunk or LAST DAYS.
Any texture pack over 128 makes everything look like shit from far away unless you have the mipmap mod.

One of the guys I work with sent me a link to this. He is Onux_Khan, and he has these 12 year olds on a short leash.
Bought this game back in alpha, Looking forward to the adventure update though, looks like it’s gunna change things up a bit.
Terraria is better.
