Hm. Max Payne 3 released for consoles (UK) at midnight tonight - do I get it then, or wait until June 1st for the PC version? Decisions, decisions…
I am making a bank account tomorrow, and Imma pre-order the pc version.
Retro Max Payne ftw
It’s really up to you. The PC version is supposedly not a port, looks much better than the console version, and supports DX11. I myself am getting it on PC but I can’t force you to do it one way or the other .
^ Same as Kairouseki
Has R* released the system reqs for the PC version yet?
Just pre-ordered, can’t wait.
Sort of, for quite some time now.
Note that those are more like the complete range of specs the game was successfully tested on, so no, you don’t really need those ultra top of the line specs to actually run the game maxed out.
I wonder if the retro Max Payne use the same face from MP1?
Apparently the free aim without aim assist on consoles is kind of clunky and hard to use
Hopefully the mouse controls are good.
Knowing GTA IV, it should be
I recall they adjust the aim speed based on the firearms Max is using. The lighter the weapon is, the faster you can aim.
derp
I like how it’s not only the face but the whole outfit as well
I actually like MP3’s max the best though the old school max is funny as hell
Fucking loved it. I forgot to charge my controller when I started, and on the last level I got a low battery warning so I decided to rush through… and holy shit the battery died at the very second the credits started rolling. It was picture-per-fect timing.
:fffuuu:
WTF[/SIZE]
Yep, that was posted earlier in the thread. In almost the exact same way :3 . I’m really interested in what exactly makes it so large. I’m guessing it’ll be investigated shortly after launch.
lol Still look like Max from the first game having hard time to shit.
At any rate, I’m replaying the first two games to prepare for the third. Might whip up a review if I feel like it.
In the first 3 years after their release, I’ve played the shit out of max payne 1 and 2, and even made a few mods (better than my house in hammer). I still remember my favorite part (the comic strip when max reads a note that says “you are in a computer game, Max”)
