Mass Effect thread

No, its screwed up on all platforms. You got lucky.

The PC version has several advantages, namely, you can mod it. Unlock cut content that was left in the game, use more varying hairstyles, eye colors, etc. Plus, there are such things as Xbox controllers for PC, you know. I play the Xbox version myself, but you can’t argue the PC version has more stuff to it in that case.

Indeed.

I tried it three times, at last I actually fired up ME2 in another window and kept tabbing between them.

However, I deduced that it is actually impossible to do completelly acurately because of the differences in the ME1 and ME2/ME3 face editors.

No it’s not. I mean sure, there are slight differences, the hairline on shep v3 is different, but I mean it’s good enough for me. The correct hair was available, but it was a terrible, flat texture. I went for the graphically improved version, now with more style!

If anything he looks at his best in ME3

To be honest however, it’s not nearly as easy as something like Skyrim. Not to mention the fact that Bioware decided not to put in controller support for some reason.

It’s still possible, though.

Hmmm.

what a bitch

I’m pretty sure that option is the only possible option in which you can survive.

Well duh, no surprise when the developer decides to release the actual SDK they used themselves to create the game in the first place.

^ I was under the impression that little section is only available with the destroy ending (and you need to complete all the side missions and have your war power thing above 4000/5000?).

Not sure if this has been posted yet:

It’s good to hear that Bioware is deeply considering fan feedback. Although, I’m not sure how they could truly believe their ending to be that good. It was decent, in that it left a lot for the player to figure out for themselves. They didn’t just throw a typical “saved the world ending” at you and I admire that.

Although, I suppose I would like better closure then everyone crash landing on some fuck-known planet where everyone can hit home runs with your grieving love interest.

Well they confirm they will be doing something about the endings, lets see what they can do.

I think it’s funny how he points out all the 10/10 reviews, when most of the fans are bitching about the endings. If that much of your following is complaining about something as important as the ending of a trilogy, you shouldn’t be referencing perfect scores that aren’t deserved since the ending is flawed.

That said, I haven’t done anything in the ME3 campaign yet, but from what I’ve seen people say, it will be very, very disappointing.

I am close to the ending (I think) and am loving the game so far. From what I hear, everything up until the very last five minutes is epic. Then it gets…iffy. My source stopped there to avoid spoilers.

Then don’t go farther. Wait for the new ending DLC.

Can you mod in a new ending? I’m afraid to finish ME3 because of the fan backlash…

An old video, but lets face it, this is how much of the Mass Effect community reacted to the endings.
