So I’m playing Mass Effect, and I do the sidequest with Toombs, and he’s all “You could have helped me on Akuze!” and Shep is all “I’m sorry!” Meanwhile, I’m thinking, “I picked War Hero, not Sole Survivor.”

I hope this doesn’t shit up my ME2 save. On the renegade play I imported into ME2, Conrad disappeared half way through the game, so he never showed up in ME2.
So whats the verdict? A lot of users on metacritic are giving it a zero. Various reasons include your decisions from the previous game were thrown out and bad dlc.
Most of those people trolling haven’t played it, you can kind of tell from their reviews. (reminds me of COD’s user ratings… plain retarded)
I’m still in the process of ‘obtaining’ it, so I have no opinion yet.

So far, so good for me! There a few…quirks…that bug me, but overall the game has been going well. I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but this game has a little bit of a different feel than the other two. There’s an atmosphere that makes it a little more cinematic, and it reminds me of something I’ve seen before but I can’t remember what. Whatever it is, I like it. I’m having fun 
After sitting down while listening to Clint Mansell’s ME 3 25 song soundtrack -{EDIT: Apparently I’m a retard and just found out it was composed by a bunch of different artist, sry I was too excited and listened to them all on youtube and the uploader didn’t provide any info besides mass effect 3 soundtrack and I assumed that the whole thing was created by Clint Mansell cause that’s all I heard from the “community”, uh well you live and learn } and I fell in love. I’m no noob to mass effect, in fact, I’ve played the first one on xbox and watched my brother play and beat the first two, and watched him play the third one today. I don’t like these type of games, however I enjoy watching them, and the soundtrack is probably the best I’ve ever heard in a game. To celebrate, I made a song heavily inspired by this AMAZING game.

im about 6 hours in…and im gonna flat out say ME 3 has jumped the shark.
i had just finished playing through ME1 + ME 2 to get hyped for ME 3…and it just feels
…like its made for guidos…i legitimately feel dumber for playing Mass Effect 3. the first thing i said when i got on the Normandy was…“what the fuck is Ronnie from the Jersey Shore doing on my fucking ship?”…then i realized it was James, the new guy…frohawk and all…the first hour alone is 95% cutscenes with 100 BAYSPLOSIONS that you have no interaction with.
the dialogue and voice acting is horribly done…everything feels forced and emotionless. every piece of dialogue is centered around THE REAPERS and THE PROTHEAN DEVICE, which aria magically has the only access to…BUT NO ONE KNOWS HOW IT WORKS. garrus is as souless as a polititian. the council dilibrates and discusses things like theyre a group of high school girls. its so fucking bad its hard to play.
the interaction with the game feels like its designed for 10 year olds. scanning consists of pinging for THE REAPERS. there is no planet scannign or resource finding…theres WAR ASSETS…loot finding consists of open your eyes and look for the green reticule.
the illusive man randomly shows up on mars…goes haha im backstabbing you…and dissappears…WITH NO EXPLANATION. you magically get spectre status which grants you a shit ton of cash…THERES NO DEPTH TO THIS GAME. i played as an adept through ME 1 and ME 2 which was fucking fun…but the gameplay for adept in ME3 is use power + m1 + wait for cooldown + power + m1 + wait for cooldown…while the game throws hoards of enemies at you. its not fun.
the worst part is…shepard has been pussified beyond belief…i regrettably saved ashley (who went from unattractive in ME1 + ME2 to super hot in ME3 btw) and the first 3 hours of the game surrounds this bullshit love triangle between ashley and aria…and out of no where…this guidette shows up to replace kelly on the normandy and starts getting jealous of EDI because its giving Shepard orders. theres one really obvious boob shot that was the most obvious ploy for guidos to get hooked on the game, it was pathetic. THE SOB STORY WITH THE LITTLE BOY AND THE DREAM SEQUENCES MADE ME FEEL EXTREMELY HOMOSEXUAL AND FEMININE. I DID NOT EVEN HAVE A CHOICE TO SAVE HIM OR NOT. I HAD TO FEEL BAD.
i know im just ranting…but im gonna keep trying to push through the game til it gets better…but the more i play the more i feel like im getting dick punched in the jaw.
i dont know if i can even play ME1 or ME2 again because the entire experiance is fucking destroyed.

EDIT: having finished the game i can officially say this is quite possibly the worst game ever made. any decision you made in the previous 2 mass effects have NO IMPACT on what happens in ME3. Garrus comes on to you. EDI has a body and fools around with joker. It is actually offensive to homosexuals. The ending is directly ripped from Deus Ex. This is an abomination.

I noticed a lot of that in the demo, I am glad I canceled my preorder. hell, I thought the fighting was getting a bit shallow, repetitive, and hoardish already in ME2.
I’m amazed that this was a planned trilogy, ME1 wrapped up quite nicely, ME2/3 just added maps and random people shooting at you for who-cares-what-reason-anymore tbh

The effects on your decisions have never been so strong and I love it.
It seems there’s a problem which occurs if you are using a Shep that was imported from ME1 to ME2, and now try to import to ME3. It will NOT recognize the code for the face and will thus ask you to reconstruct from scratch.
