So is the gif perfect yet? Do I read this right that different browsers really do cache it and display it in different speeds? I am stupid enough to never have known that would happen. I thought internet speed was internet speed no matter how you browsed it.

Derp. 10 frames per second is 10 frames per second, or 10 still images displayed per second. 0.1s between say 3 frames is not 10fps - it’s 3 frames with 0.1s between them. A delay between frames does not equal how many frames are present. Yes, if you had a 0.1s delay between frames, you’d only get 10 frames per second max - but it does not mean there are 10 frames. It means each frame has a 0.1s delay between them, and that’s about it. There’s much more to it as well, but let’s not over-strain your comprehension “skills” all at once.

Man, are you fuckin retarded? I can drive my truck at 100 km/h (I shouldn’t have to explain that it’s 100 kilometers for every one hour of driving since your comprehension skills are so developed) but that doesn’t mean that I have to drive a minimum of 100 km. I can drive 2 km, but I’m still going 100 km/h. 3 frames with a 0.1 second delay between all of them is still 10 FPS, no matter how you slice it there buddy.

I am still learning about ip addresses and how they may work when folks start ghosting, but that only means that I post my findings for other moderators to check. I may be the weakest link, but we have an uber smart team.

Are lots of people in the USA on static IPs? I thought the ISPs rotated them? (Of course there are very simple ways to change your IP anyway, but could anyone be bothered to access through a proxy all the time?)

Mine is not static, it gets reset by my download manager every time a new rapidshare link starts downloading, but I would still use a proxy simply by old habit, it’s like a reflex.

And no, nobody’s dumb enough to use a proxy all the time nonstop, I just push a button to enable/disable, and I can change proxies if it’s too slow or unresponsive.

How is it not relevant? The OP was having problems with his animation frames playing at the wrong speed. I suggested he learn about Frames Per Second. He thought that was the same as Delay Between Frames. I informed him it was not. Others made the same mistake, and I explained further why they were wrong. And here we are. How is that not related to the OP? It’s a discussion on frames, speed, animation - exactly what the OP was about.
