Loss of Interest in BM?

Grammmar whores. Geez.

Well, if you are “quite sure”, I surrender. English is not my primary language.

But isn’t it better to say “every” instead of “any”? :3

Gave up on wanting it to come out today. Having a rediculous release date in your mind will help you cope with the (im)patience. Like… 25th December 2011?

Being agry about things won’t help a bit, allthough it may feel great to shut people up in anonymity… :jizz:

Every and any have different meanings: every means ‘every one there is’, while any means ‘any there may be’. It’s a nuance, but an important one.

It’s not my primary language either, but I consider myself to be quite good at English.

Every = All possible

Any = This or that or the other… but only one.

no loss of interest for me i mean ive been waiting for 3 yrs.

I figure I will lose interest after playing it the fifth or tenth time. Maybe the twentieth

Pussy

Dictionary agrees with me :3

I did not disagree with you

Will it be out by the end of THIS year? Or is this gonna wait until Portal 2 comes out and we have another year of porting to that updated engine and updating the assets to be on par with said updates?

Again?

The end of this fiscal year perhaps?

Or the end of this dog year?

I reckon They’re suffering from duke nukem forever syndrome. I suspect the team or certain team members must be complete perfectionists and are always finding something new to add or change to the mod which leads to an endless task. I can see them being close to completion many times but never actually being satisfied with what they have. Where does that end though? Its like painting a painting, you can work and work at it and redo certain parts of it but when it comes down to it no matter how much you work at it, it could always be improved in some way or other, Its just knowing when to draw the line. Its just like They’re attitude saying “when its done” in reality no game is ever really “done” and can always be improved in some way or other. Its about drawing the line.

But saying all that its still really good to see that They’re putting this much work into it.

They’re not their :hmph:

Oh bugger off. Corrected just for you.

I’ve got my eye on you little one :hmph:

Totally off-topic… but is your forum rank :expressionless: ?

It is

They just want is as polished and as finished as they can get it, I suppose.
Then again, post-release updates never hurt anyone.

EDIT: Now that I mention it, I’ve seen no Xen media yet. Maybe they’ve still got all that to do! Who knows?

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
